Leave me a comment on this, please? I think that it's a great point-- and if it makes sense, email it out, please.

Okay-- imagine that the week after the worst terrorist attack in world history, in which almost 3,000 of your countrymen were murdered you were in church and the pastor began telling the parishioners that the United States brought it on itself. That we deserved it. That America deserved to be damned by God.

Imagine he's saying this, complete with foul language, in front of your young children. He's saying that your country deserved the vicious assault and that your countrymen just got in the way.

Wouldn't you punch that pompous asshole in the face?

I'm not being sarcastic here. If you were in church and you heard that from the pulpit, wouldn't you calmly get up, roll up your sleeves and punch him over the altar?

Or at least walk out?

Why didn't then-State Senator Barack Obama do this to Reverend Jeremiah Wright? He would have been hailed as a hero and had the self-satisfaction of sticking up for the murdered. Why didn't he at least gather up his family, give the preacher the finger and walk out, never to return again?

Or at least demand an apology?

Yet Obama did none of that. Instead, he mumbled some comments to the news about how we had to understand the al Qaeda terrorists and how poverty was partly to blame.

So once again, and I'm asking you the reader to answer and get your friends and family to answer:

We Should be Ashamed

Exactly nine years ago to the minute, hundreds of people were dying. Many died of burns, trauma, or smoke inhalation. Just minutes later would almost 3,000 in total be murdered by an imperialist attack by the forces of Islamist terrorism. People jumped from the Towers in order to not suffer burns any longer-- people walked stunned over the Brooklyn Bridge-- over 200 firefighters did not return home.

And few remember.

We should be ashamed of ourselves. In the days following the attacks of September 11th, 2001, some of the most parroted lines were "Lest we forget" and "Never forget." By the end of 2005 it was apparent that the majority of Americans had forgotten, or just did not care.

Think about the resolve of the 90% of Americans who stood up to call for a blistering attack on the center of Islamist terrorism. That not only meant the Taliban, but state sponsors, like Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Time had come to finally destroy those who had funded this type of murder for decades.

Do you remember how idiotic the 10% of the rest of the country looked when they opposed attacking Osama? Those people formed the core of the anti-Iraq War detractors and the Kerry '04 and Obama '08 campaigns. They are just as stupid now as they were while Ground Zero was still smoldering.

President Bush made a roaring and strong speech just nine days after the attack, showing just what we had to do. Americans were supportive of it then, when we actually remembered the attack:

We're really so concerned that three terrorists were waterboarded? We're so concerned that Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the planner of the deaths of 3,000 Americans and the decapitator of Daniel Pearl, had a gunshot fired near him to scare him? I don't care. He murdered thousands of innocent people. I just don't care about him getting waterboarded, and neither should you.

We whine so much about the tools which prevented the next attack. We are disgusted by the lessons learned from the attacks.

Say what you want about George W. Bush, but he kept his promises. He promised that he wouldn't forget. He promised that he would make sure to avenge September 11th, 2001, and make sure that it would not reoccur on his watch.

He kept his word-- that is his legacy.

Proof: Democrats at Fault for the Recession

Claims have been bandied about that President Bush was at fault for the economic down-turn that began in late 2007. Until now, Democrats have pointed the finger at our 43rd President, stating that he single-handedly pushed our nation to the brink of economic collapse. That stops today. Examining unemployment, national debt data, and GDP growth, the truth becomes clear and apparent. President Bush was not at fault for the recession we are in. The Democrats who took over Congress in 2007 are.

From 1995 to January of 2007, Republicans held at least one house of Congress. However, in the 2006 mid-term elections, Democrats won control of both the House and Senate. They took their new offices in January, 2007. Soon after that time until now, the United States has entered a deep recession, often attributed to President Bush. However, examining the actions of the Democratic Congress and the effects that came, the truth is revealed.

Unemployment is a figure that commands the attention of everyone, from the rich to the poor. Examining its data seems the logical place to start. While President Bush and Republicans controlled Congress, unemployment stayed around 5%, increasing by slightly over 1% after 9/11, from 4.7% to 6.3% in January of 2002. However, it eventually fell to 4.1% by the time of the November 2006 election. After Democrats took office, they passed incredibly expensive new bills, including raising minimum wage and the CLEAN Energy Act.

Under the Democrats, unemployment started to balloon. It stated to climb, rising past 4.5%, past 5%, past 6%, and past 6.5%, all the way to 8.5% by the time they had been in office for just two years. By then, President Obama had been inaugurated, and unemployment continued to rise as spending increased. This chart explains, in depth, the bills Democrats passed, and the effects they had from November 2006-March 2010 (click for a sharper, bigger image):

As you can see, the massive new spending that has been taking place from 2007-the present has had a major effect on unemployment.

A large National Debt data is also something that Democrats like to blame President Bush for. However, examining our debt as a percent of our GDP shows the truth again. This number sounds complicated, but in fact it is pretty simple. "Our debt as a percent of our GDP" simply means that if our GDP is $100 and our debt is $60, then our "debt as a percent of our GDP" is 60%. From 2001-2007 (when Republicans left office), the percent of our debt grew from 57.4% to 65.6%, or 8.8% (around 1.2% a year). Though the number did rise, you must take into account 9/11, the devastation from Hurricane Katrina, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Further, from 2005-2007, it slowed to an average of .5% per year, which means it may have began to go down in the near future.

Then Democrats took office. In their first full year in office, the debt as a percent of GDP rose 4.6%, from 65.6% to 70.2%. The next year was even more astounding, as the percent rose 15.9%, to 86.1%. So far this year, the percent is up another 5% to 91.1%. See the huge spike on the right side? That's when Democrats took control of Congress.

The growth of our very economy is also very important to examine. Under President Bush and the Republican Congress, our GDP grew on average around 3%, peaking in the fall of 2003 to nearly 7%. The GDP only decreased in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, and that was only for one quarter.

Then Democrats took Congress. At the beginning of 2008, our GDP sharply dropped. By the end of 2008, it was retracting at a rate of almost 7%. This graph shows everything in more detail (click for a bigger, sharper image):

The fall in growth under Democrats is amazing.

Examining this data, there can only be one conclusion: the United States entered our recession as the result of the Democratic takeover of Congress in 2007. The truth is out. Once again, the Democratic strategy of blaming President Bush for everything is revealed to be a lie. It is quite possible that the only way to remedy the recession we are in is to once again elect a Republican majority.

Is Glenn Beck Running for President?

It's not just spending, it's not just taxes, it's not just corruption, it is progressivism, and it is in both parties. It is in the Republicans and the Democrats.

Glenn Beck, one of the nation's most listened to radio and television personality, has been busy lately. Yesterday, he and 2008 VP candidate and former Governor Sarah Palin held a rally together, telling the audience of thousands to 'restore America's honor.' He has been spearheading the "9.12 Project" in recent months, where he pleads with Americans to return to a 'simpler, more moral' time in our history. Mr. Beck has also been heavily tied to the Tea Party. Are these isolated incidents, as Beck used to say, or are they tied to a grander scheme? Is Glenn Beck running for President?

Let us examine the timeliness of Mr. Beck's recent actions and their possible connections. In his rally yesterday, the AP has reported that the radio personality was "borrowing" some of his lines from President Obama's 2008 stump speech. Mr. Beck stated, "One man can change the world. That man or woman is you. You make the difference." One could assume that Beck was referring to individuals in the audience, he just as easily could have meant himself, leaving little hints of a possible future in politics.

Our Next President?

Further examining his recent rally, Mr. Beck appeared with Sarah Palin, a woman considered to be a leading Republican political figure. Why Sarah Palin? Why the Republican Vice Presidential nominee in 2008? Possibly because Mr. Beck believes that she is the epitome of American virtues. Possibly because Mr. Beck wants to be identified with Mrs. Palin, whom he considers to be a virtuous politician.

Glenn Beck's disdain for John McCain was worn on his sleeve. Beck stated that he would not vote for McCain, only to change his mind after Palin was added to the ticket. Beck also said in an interview that perhaps McCain would be a worse president than Barack Obama, by leading us down a socialist road in another manner. Such discontent could be reversed should Beck decide to take up the mantle himself.
Recently, in addition to Mrs. Palin, Mr. Beck has been seen with other famous politicians and has spoken at other large, political rallies. In May, Beck and former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke to the NRA. In February, Mr. Beck gave the keynote address at the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC. Even at Mr. Beck's recent rally, baseball MVP Albert Pujols and Manager Tony LaRussa attended. These all seem to be pointing to something bigger.

This week's rally appeared to be almost completely unpolitical. Neither Palin nor Beck mentioned President Obama once and no outward signs of politics showed. The serious, calm attitude that exuded from the event appears to be the antithesis of Beck's usual verbosity. In fact, compared to what has was written earlier about Beck, this event may be intended to crystallize a different image of him in the non-conservative psyche.

Sarah Palin

Even Mr. Beck's travelling schedule points to a possible Presidential run. Today he is in Washington, D.C. He does his show out of New York City. He has traveled around the nation supporting the 9.12 Project and the Tea Party. All of his traveling could very well be to spread his name-recognition and message.

Beck's 9.12 rally last year garnered over 250,000 people to come to the Capitol Mall last year and created a large amount of media coverage. It was this event, along with Beck's addition to the FoxNews lineup that made him a household name outside of the talk radio circuit. This year's Bold Fresh tour with fellow Fox host Bill O'Reilly has seen (or will soon see) Beck travel to various political battlegrounds such as Ohio, Virginia, Louisiana, Florida, and Missouri. In fact, five of the eleven stops will be in states that will be in play in 2012. Beck has also done what no other conservative host has done, going on comedy tours annually. This last year he stopped in Denver and Pheonix, epicenters of demographic and political shifts.

9.12 Rally Last Year

Mr. Beck also seems to be pushing the Tea Party as a viable third party. In fact, as recently as November, he stated that the believed that "a third party’s going to win in 2012," referring to the upcoming Presidential election. Could that someone be Mr. Beck himself? Possibly.

The question must be asked why Beck, and not other conservative hosts like Limbaugh, Savage, and Levin, is creating a grassroots network of support mirroring the Tea Party. Presumably, the Tea Party would be difficult to sustain without a cadre of leadership and a Palin-Beck axis appears to be the most visible approximation of that.

Beck has shifted of late to go from simply a conservative host to more of an "American" figure. This seeming nonpartisanship could easily be transferred into a campaign slogan or a sound byte. Beck, rather than politcal infighters such as Obama, McCain, Bush, and Clinton, would be the one (he may say) that can rise above politics-- that the challenges we face are not Democratic or Republican, but American. In his words:

We are Americans. We've got to pull together because we are facing dark, dark times. I don't trust a single weasel in Washington; I don't care what party they're from. But unless we trust each other, we're not going to make it.

While Mr. Beck has not stated flatly that he will or will not run for President, the signs may point to yes. Speaking at conventions and creating rallies, being tied with famous politicians, and extolling a third party seem to scream that, at the very least, office may be on Glenn Beck's mind.

Haley Up Big in South Carolina

The Republican candidate for governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, has opened a wide lead over her Democratic opponent. Haley won a huge primary victory over multiple opponents despite all of the slander leveled against her. Her victory would make her the second Indian-American governor in American history. The poll is from Rasmussen, the most accurate national pollster.

Haley (R): 52%
Sheheen (D): 36%
Other/und: 12%

Up by 16%

Haley's numbers simply show that she's cruising towards an easy victory. Not only is she above 50% but Sheheen can't even break 40%. It would also appear that all of the accusations of misdoing have not stuck and Haley's former role in the administration of Governor Mark Sanford.

Hayworth Won't Concede

This might seem a little out of place, but alas it's true. Senator John McCain beat former Congressman JD Hayworth in Tuesday's primaries, yet it appears that Hayworth still will not concede the race. The race was particularly long and nasty, with both sides injecting personal barbs. However, this appears to be one of the weirder parts of the fight.

Sanders told POLITICO Hayworth had no plans of calling McCain. A message seeking an explanation on why was not immediately returned.

One has to wonder if Hayworth believes that he lost the race legitimately or if there was something fishy going on. No evidence of this, but perhaps JD thinks there's something out there. Furthermore, he might be upset about the amount of money McCain spent on the race. Still, it could be a prelude to another bid for office.

According to the article Hayworth would not concede after he lost the 2006 race to a Democrat. So do you believe that Hayworth should or will concede? What would you do in this situation?

Senator Murkowski Can Still Win in Alaska.

NEWSFLASH: Joe Miller is not the victor in Alaska.

For some unknown reason, everyone wants to declare Joe Miller the victor in Alaska, despite the fact that thousands of absentee ballots have yet to be counted, and thousands of absentee ballots have yet to arrive. Why is about everyone so eager to declare Miller the winner? It is not like we are in real danger of losing Alaska this November....to a Democrat.

According to Alaska's Board of Election's website, 100% of Precincts have reported their tallies to the secretary of state, and the election results are even tighter than it was yesterday morning:

Joe Miller - 47,027 - 50.90%.
Murkowski - 45,359 - 49.10%.
Difference - 1,668 votes - 1.80%.

At last count - 7,600 absentee ballots out of 16,000 requested have been returned, and Dave Dittman, a pollster out of Anchorage, put the number of GOP ballots at about 5,000. Meaning about 65% of all absentee ballots are Republican ballots, and that we can expect close to 10,000 GOP votes if 15,400 absentee's are returned. And so on and so forth.

As of now Ms.Murkowski needs 67% of all absentee's (out of 5,000), but when votes from really rural areas of the state, and Military votes from overseas trickle in, the necessary percentage of votes needed for victory in the Murkowski camp will slowly decline (say 10,000 GOP absentee's come in, Murkowski would only need to capture 59% of the uncounted vote).

This race is not over.

Primary Mania Predictions - August 24, 2010.

Today is Primary Mania in the United States of America, especially in Republican precincts, and as such, I decided to compile a list of the more interesting battles that are unfolding across the United States today, and offer my personal predictions. Please feel free to comment, and if you reside in any of the Primary states - Alaska, Arizona, and Florida - please get out there and vote.

Alaska's Senatorial Republican Primary

Senator Lisa Murkowski will defeat Joe Miller, who is backed by Sarah Palin and Tea Party groups by a 60-40% margin. Closer than expected, but a Murkowski win nonetheless.

Arizona's Senatorial Republican Primary

Senator John McCain will defeat Congressman JD Hayworth by a 70-25% margin, with a third lesser known candidate receiving the rest. Both have received the endorsement of Conservative individuals and organizations in Arizona, but Tea Partiers have mostly stayed out of the Primary.

Arizona's 3rd Congressional Repblican Primary

Will the Republican voters of Arizona's 3rd congressional district support attorney Ben Quayle, State Senator Pamela Gorman, or Paradise Valley Mayor, Vernon Parker? I personally have no idea who will win today, but I'm doubtful it will be the son of Vice-President Quayle, as a sex scandal has embroiled his campaign.

Florida's Gubernatorial Republican Primary

This Primary battle is nasty. Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and Businessman Rick Scott have been tearing at one-another for the past few weeks via television advertisements. I support the Attorney General due to his very conservative record, and according to a recent poll of close to 800 Republicans: 39% (a plurality) of GOP voters do as well. But this race is up in the air.

Shocking: Supporters of Ground Zero Mosque to Protest on September 11th

This is a slap in the face. The supporters of the Ground Zero Mosque are planning something that is insulting to everyone who suffered in the September 11th atrocities. In a crass move, a protest is planned on the ninth anniversary of the murders even as the site's Twitter feed asks for contributions:

The Cordoba Initiative needs your help!!! Please donate on our website and help support our programs that focus on [peace, tolerance, and understanding!]

The protests come as those against the project will also be speaking out:

Muslim and Arab-American groups will meet later this week to discuss how to mark the anniversary, which could coincide with the Muslim holiday marking the endof the holy month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr.

"We're not going to do (a rally) across the street. That's not the approach that we're doing," said Linda Sarsour, the director of the Arab American Association of New York.

She said the coalition is considering a large community service project, interfaith dinner and other events to promote understanding.

This Sunday, groups for and against the centre are also planning marches in downtown Manhattan.

This is a seriously bad idea to have a protest on that day in lower Manhattan, even with a cultural dinner and other related ideas. The march will also serve to marginalize the moderate Islamic community, seeming like the mosque is being forced upon us on September 11th, of all days.

Obama's Dumbest Moment by Far

I try not to be too much of a cynic. Even with President Obama, you have to try and give every person at least the tiniest benefit of the doubt. However, in the last 24 hours he has said perhaps the dumbest, most idiotic things of his short political career. And I know-- that's saying a lot.

Obama has come out in support of the Ground Zero mosque idea, despite many of the victims of the September 11th, 2001 atrocities families being against the plan. Apparently he has moved to the left of even Governor Paterson, who tried to move the mosque away from the sacred ground.

"We must all recognise and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of lower Manhattan, Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground. But let me be clear, as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community centre on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government, is essential to who we are."

Apparently it's all the rage for the Left to defend the mosque. But God forbid a cross going up on or near public property. Or forbid a cultural center that isn't politically correct. Let's hope they're not building a church or a war memorial near the school, or it might offend someone.

President Obama's said some really stupid things in the last several years. However, this is a direct slap in the face to survivors of the horrific tragedy and furthermore show how far we have come as a country in those nine years. So far that even our own President and Mayor of New York can forget the lessons and pain of that terrible day.

Feingold Continues to Trail in Wisconsin Race.

Democratic Senator Russ Feingold continues to trail rightwing Republican Businessman Ron Johnson in the state of Wisconsin, according to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports. Johnson is a lifelong man of business, and his unexpected strength against Senator Feingold, a lifelong politician from a state that is definitely progressive, has been well documented by Jumping in Pools over the past few months (last link is to latest poll):
June 22 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Ron Johnson (R) - 45%.
Other/Undecided - 9%.

July 29 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Ron Johnson (R) - 48%.
Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Other/Undecided - 6%.
August 11 - Feingold vs. Johnson:

Ron Johnson (R) - 47%.
Russ Feingold (D) - 46%.
Other/Undecided - 7%.

As you can see, Senator Feingold's support hasn't increased or decreased in two months, while Mr.Johnson's support has remained the same, besides for a few fence sitters that are currently leaning in his direction. And with the election just under 12 weeks/3 months from now, both Senator Feingold and Mr.Johnson should beg for a major/huge scandal to break, or else the results of this election cannot and will not be known until election night.

Yahoo! News Declares: Anyone Against Ground Zero Mosque an 'Ignorant Bigot'

No bias in the media, huh? Why don't you swing by Yahoo! News and read the excrement that they are shoveling. If I may quote their bile in a "story" by "journalist" Bobby Ghosh:

The last legal hurdle to the proposed Islamic center near the site of the World Trade Center has been removed, but ignorance, bigotry and politics are more formidable obstacles...Criticism spans the gamut, from the ill-informed anguish of those who mistakenly view Islam as the malevolent force that brought down the towers to the ill-considered opportunism of right-wing politicians who see Islam as an easy target.

Ill-informed anguish? Mr. Ghosh, if you are referring to people who lost their family in 9/11 and are still anguished by it, I suggest you stop demeaning them.

Right-wing opportunists? Apparently, Mr. Ghosh cannot actually refute the truthful claims of 9/11 victims' families, so instead he seeks to insult them. How about you look at Feisal Abdul Rauf off the bat, and leave 9/11 families alone? How about you get a life and a soul and have some compassion instead of peddling drivel and lies, Mr. Ghosh?

This man is no journalist. Anyone who insults 9/11 families and calls them ignorant bigots is scum, nothing more.

Obama Approval Scrapes 40%

Barack Obama's supporters are falling precipitously-- and that's not from a poll from Fox or Rasmussen. Instead, left-leaning USA Today partnered with Gallup to create a new job performance poll. And they must not have liked what they saw.

Approve: 41%
Disapprove: 53%

President Obama's job approval is sinking swiftly-- and even worse for him, his disapproval is now peaking over 50%. Looks like we'll need another $6 trillion in stimulus spending to counteract this, stat!

And conveniently, the article in USA Today has the poll snuck near the bottom so most casual readers would have missed it. It was stuck under other more bad news for Obama-- that people disapprove of his handling of the War in Afghanistan with just 36%.

Obama Disapproval Reaches New High

For those who are still interested to see if President Obama has any supports left-- check out the new poll average from Real Clear Politics. According to their tracker, the President's disapproval rating has reached its highest rating yet.

Approval: 45.7%
Disapproval: 49.0%

Rasmussen has the President's disapproval at a high 56% while Time, which is infamous for left-leaning polls, has him at "only" 45%. It should also be noted that Time is the only of the major polls that have Obama with more approving than disapproving.

So when we get the repeal of the Bush tax cuts and the economy tanks, how many people are going to approve then? Or if we get a job-killing, energy-price-spiking cap and tax bill, how many people will be happy? Or when people have to pay new taxes to pay for ObamaCare? Or when Iran gets the bomb?

Why are you the best choice for Nevada?

My overall political philosophy is that proper government exists only by the consent of the governed and government must be restrained from intruding into the freedoms of its citizens. I support the Arizona law. If the federal government will not enforce the federal law, we must do it at the State level.

Mrs. Lowden has regrettably chosen to go against her very own pledge to not say anything negative about a fellow Republican. This race is not about picking each other apart. It is about defeating Reid. I look forward to her support after the primary should I win.

Not only is popular GOP Congressman Mark Kirk running against him, but his family's bank was seized by the government on suspicions of corruption. Yes, the son of Jesse Jackson might back a Republican.

Politico is reporting this as it becomes obvious that Giannoulias may actually lose in this very blue state.

“I like Alexi Giannoulias, but I have great respect for Mark Kirk and his service to the people of Illinois,” Jackson told POLITICO.

Jackson and Kirk work together on the House Appropriations Committee, on which both are senior members of the subcommittee that provides foreign aid.

Hawaii's first congressional district is now in Republican hands, and Washington Democrats are sure to be planning "firing squads"for Colleen Hanabusa and Ed Case; the two Democrats who split the 100,000 Democratic vote, opening the path for Charles Djou, a certified Conservative.

Now I expect most Democrats and Liberals to blame Charles Djou's "victory" on the Democratic split, and on Hawaii's unique special election format. However, that would be a distraction from the real picture: Charles Djou increased Republican votes by more than 75% during a special election.

Don't believe me? Wrap your mind around these statistics:

2008 congressional election

(D) Abercrombie - 154,208 - 70.6%
(R) Steve Tataii - 38,115 - 17.4%
Other/Blank vote - 25,963 - 11.9%

2010 special election

(R) Charles Djou - 67,610 - 39.4%
(D) Democrats - 100,193 - 58.4%
Other/Blank vote - 3,614 - 2.2%

Charles Djou not only benefited from a "Democratic split" between Moderates and Liberals, but he increased the amount of Republican votes in Hawaii's first congressional district by 29,000 votes or by 75%, in a special election. That's a dramatic shift in just 18 months.

If Republicans can increase their vote total by 75% in Hawaii; a well known bastion of Democrat policies (exempting traditional marriage, which Hawaiians feel strongly about) and politicians, than what can Republicans do in Arkansas, North Dakota, Arizona and Nevada; states where Democrats are on the decline?

Congressman Djou's successful campaign increased Republican votes by 75% during a special congressional election, when most voters stay home (54% of registered voters participated in this special election). What will happen across America in November; when the American public declares liberalism dead on review? We can only hope, but I'm optimistic.

Puerto Rico politics and Glenn Beck.

When I turn on Glenn Beck each morning for the latest and greatest news on talk radio: I never expect to hear about Puerto Rico for 60 consecutive minutes, forcing me to turn off my radio. It could just be me, but I really have no problem with Puerto Rico becoming our 51st state - if the Congressional legislation is written right, which the current legislation is not.

What's the problem with Glenn Beck? Well, he doesn't like how the legislation is written, or how the legislation will be forcing Puerto Ricans to choose between two unpopular choices - Statehood or the unusual Independence. I agree with Glenn Beck on both of his grievances, but if Congress were to rewrite the legislation, I would without a doubt support a 51st Puerto Rican state.

Wouldn't the State of Puerto Rico lead to millions of new Democratic votes? The idiot would yell "yes!" from rooftops, but Puerto Rico isn't a simple commonwealth. Like our other territories, Puerto Rico has a mixture of the two national major political parties and three local parties, one of which is called theNew Progressive Party.

Sounds like a radical progressive bunch? You'd be mistaken, see the New Progressive Party was established when several local Republicans were agitated with the Republican Party of Puerto Rico over a lack of firm commitment for statehood. It might surprise some, but the party was and is the dominant Conservative party, and their purpose is simple: Achieve statehood through any means possible.

Still unconvinced? Please look up Puerto Rico's Republican Governor Luis Fortuno, a fiscal Conservative who has been fighting the good fight against labor unions, state employees and government spending. Fortuno is also the Chairman of the Progressive Party, though his allegiance lies with Republicans. In all honesty, Fortuno is such a Conservative - he's been mentioned as a potential Republican candidate for President in 2012.

Overall a Puerto Rican state would benefit both Republicans and Democrats, especially if their popular Republican Governor ran for US Senate or the House of Representatives, and though I support their current efforts for statehood, I do not approve of their methods, thus I will not support the legislation being debated this afternoon in Washington.

An In-depth Look at how Obama has Slowed U.S. Economic Recovery

You may here data saying that the United States is making a rebound economically, with reports citing unemploymentnot rising and the American GDP increasing. Hearing these sound-bites, devoid of context, some might think that the United States is recovering brilliantly under President Obama. But I hate to be the one to break it to them, but there are reasons the U.S. economy is recovering, and it's no thanks to President Obama.

Before I go into the data I will state second things from the outset: first, the information I am using are facts from the International Monetary Fund and the Bureau of Labor Statistics(aggregated through this website). Second, the United States' economy is resilient, and despite President Obama badly damaging it, it will recover.

Unemployment

Easily the most obvious failure of the Obama Administration is employment. Way back in his first month in office, the President promised that, if his stimulus bill was passed, that unemployment would not rise about 8%. As everyone from Main Street to Wall Street knows, he broke his promise.

But even more damning is the unemployment compared to the four Presidents before him. *Author's note, it was difficult to get raw data pre-1980, so that is why the graphs will begin with President Reagan. Take a look at it:

I bet you can guess who's President on the far right. Feel free to look at the data here. The graph is a compilation of yearly unemployment averages. In fact, the average unemployment under Obama is greater than the highest single year of the last 30 years.

What people need to realize is that when the MSM states that unemployment is down X percent, that it is all relative. The thing is, unemployment never even should have been that high in the first place. You will see this trend as the article continues.

GDP

Few economists talk about the GDP of the United States, normally. They talk it in respect to the President only when it is "rising." But once again, this is a relative matter. For example, if the national GDP is $10 trillion and it climbs to $12 trillion, it increases by $2 trillion, but only 20%. Yet if the U.S. GDP is $1 trillion and it goes to $2 trillion, it increases by only $1 trillion, but is a 100% gain. This is what is happening under Obama.

Think of headlines by the MSM. When they talk about American growth, do you ever heard hard numbers? No, always percents. Because under Obama the GDP of the U.S. has stagnated, even a small increase seems larger than before.

With the context included, the falling GDP of the U.S. under Obama is even more stark:

Point three percent. Just wow. And just to be nice, I added the estimated increase of the U.S. GDP in 2010. If I had not, the graph would have shown a decrease under Obama at -2.4%, which, by the way, is the lowest of any year in the last thirty (again).

Borrowing

This will be my last graph, and the only one that's a bar-graph. Unfortunately, the data bank that I am using only goes back to 2001, but the stats are evident. This graph will simply show the average amount of money owed/borrowed during any year of the Bush and Obama Administrations, respectively.

Unbelievable. And once again, Obama has the most money borrowed in the data's recorded history.

In Conclusion

When you turn on your T.V. or read the newspaper and see the economy rebounding, the see the incredible American economy rebuilding. What you do not see are results because of the President's actions, but in spite of them. Our capitalist society and the great people that inhabit it are the driving force behind the strength of our nation and economy, and they do not sit idly by as it falls.

In the end, this shows that without the President's mishandling of the economy, our nation would be doing better. All President Obama has done is slow our recovery down.

So Who are these Revolution Muslim Scumbags, Anyway?

Let's get down to some bare bones on who these people are who threated to kill South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They're from a site called Revolution Muslim, which if you didn't figure out, is a site dedicated to jihadist principles and Muslim fundamentalism.

They posted that Parker and Stone had to be careful that they didn't turn out like Theo van Gogh, who was brutally murdered for covering extremist Muslims' hatred and maltreatment of women. They also sent writer Ali Hirshi into hiding.

These scumbags were called out by FoxNews two entire years ago for the crap they were pulling. According to the article:

The 39-year-old New York taxi driver launched RevolutionMuslim.com with the mission of “preserving Islamic culture,” “calling people to the oneness of God” and asking them to “support the beloved Sheik Abdullah Faisal, who’s preaching the religion of Islam and serving as a spiritual guide.”

In 2003 Faisal was convicted in the U.K. for spreading messages of racial hatred and urging his followers to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. In sermon recordings played at his trial, Faisal called on young, impressionable Muslims to use chemical weapons to “exterminate unbelievers” and “cut the throat of the Kaffars [nonbelievers] with [a] machete.”

Is Romney sitting on political gold?

Mitt Romney, the former Republican Governor of Massachusetts is a smart businessman who is known for turning around the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic games, but I'm not sure the former Governor is aware of his current political situation.

A situation of sitting on pure political gold.

What could I possibly mean by suggesting Governor Romney is sitting on political gold, considering I'm well aware of the Romneycare baggage and how that issue has plagued the former Governor. Well, for those who appreciate history, Cal Coolidge was one of our greatest post-Founding Father domestic Presidents, after Abe Lincoln of course.

Why? President Coolidge was not only a man of few words, a staunch "government cutter" on a federal scale, but he was also a dedicated federalist from Massachusetts who understood the role of state and federal government on the exact same issue, and how the "role" differed between the two.

Still baffled? See, when President Coolidge was slashing the federal budget, downsizing the federal government, and decreasing the federal income tax, he was doing so from a federalist mindset, something we know from his record as Governor - He did the complete opposite on those just mentioned issues while Governor, because as Governor he had a right to, but not as President.

Back to Mitt Romney's political gold: President Coolidge is well respected and beloved for his economic and small government policies, along with his dedication to federalism. If Mitt Romney will govern as Coolidge did on a federal scale, we could be looking at an exceptional President who values states rights and their "role" in governing, thus restoring the lost art of federalism.

Over the past few months Mitt Romney has used variations of "states right" arguments to defend Romneycare while bashing Obamacare, but he just hasn't hit the nail on the head. He needs to research Calvin Coolidge, and declare himself a Calvin Coolidge federalist to the American electorate.

Only then will he win receive the Republican Nomination, and only then will he be elected the 45th President of the United States of America.

Who Would You Support for the GOP Nomination in 2012?

I know we're still nine or ten months away from the 2012 Presidential cycle officially beginning, and we're still close to 20 months away from the first votes being cast in New Hampshire (Iowa uses a Caucus formation), but who doesn't want to have a poll asking hundreds upon hundreds of Republican voters who their candidate of choice is, at this time?

That's why I'm asking that all Republicans who participate in this poll (Independents and "Right thinking" Democrats are encouraged to participate as well) spread the word, because we need to know who is popular amongst Republican and Republican leaning voters, as the upcoming GOP nomination will be tight, close and passionate.

Now this poll will differ from previous "opinion polls" as this poll will include top tier, second tier and downright darkhorse candidates. I also want to invite all of the "voters" to consider Conservative principles, electability, and other contributing issues; such as National Defense when "voting" for a candidate, such as you will come early 2012.

Obama Received $1 Million From Goldman Sachs

A GOP Governor in Massachusetts?

Don't hold your breath.
Or at lead, that's what I said about Scott Brown's candidacy five months ago.

But let's take a look at the situation here. Current Democratic Governor Deval Patrick, a close ally of President Obama, has helped run the state into the ground after Governor Romney straightened out a lot of the state government. Patrick won 55%-35% in a three-way race in 2006. Now he suffers from anemic approval ratings and in any other state would appear vulnerable.

But this is Massachusetts.

The Republicans have just chosen Charles Baker as their nominee. He is a veteran of two state administrations and is a capable business leader. He's certainly a New England Republican. He supports abortion rights and gay-marriage rights. But he's fiscally conservative and wants to roll back the excesses of the Massachusetts democrats.

Republicans only have 5 of 40 seats in the State Senate, or just 12.5%. So what are the odds of pulling this one off? I'd take a look at several factors:

Pro-Baker:

The Obama Effect could be at play if he comes to the Bay State.
Romney could push hard-- believe it or not he still has some credibility there.
Scott Brown will be an effective person on Baker's side. He can be the voice of reason in this very blue state.
Now that ObamaCare is passed, Baker can run on an anti-establishment platform-- in RomneyCare land.
The Tea Party movement may coalesce around this fiscally responsible candidate.

Anti-Baker:

Higher turnout in a regular election will result in a more-heavily Democratic electorate. Brown's election took place during a special election.
The election is not during the ObamaCare debate-- and apart from Patrick's incompetence there is no unifying force to rally around.
Patrick is no Coakley, at least not yet. He campaigned hard to win the Dems' nomination in 2006 and will probably do so again to retain his seat.
Conservatives may not want to back what they consider a RINO. But what's the alternative?

Perhaps not the favorite of the GOP candidates for President in 2012, but it appears that President Obama is facing a tougher challenge for his reelection than he would have wanted. According to PPP, which is a traditionally Democratic Party poll, Obama trails both Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee.

It's not that any of the Republican candidates are particularly popular, or even that Obama's approval numbers have declined. But whereas in previous months a good number of the voters disapproving of his job performance weren't ready to commit to voting Republican in 2012 yet, now 85-89% of them do in each of these hypothetical contests. That suggests that even if Obama's overall unpopularity has not increased, the intensity of it has. For instance among voters who disapprove of Obama but also have an unfavorable opinion of Sarah Palin, she leads him by 22 points in a head to head contest. That wasn't necessarily the case in previous months.

Crist in Lead as Independent?

Some potentially explosive news out of Florida. Current Governor and candidate for the Senate Charlie Crist would be leading in athree-way race against Marco Rubio and Democrat Charlie Meek. This comes as Rubio is crushing Crist in the Republican primary race for the Senate.

Also from the poll:

Crist would get 30 percent of Republicans, 27 percent of Democrats and 38 percent of independent voters;

Meek, a congressman from South Florida, would get 55 percent of Democratic votes, 15 percent of independents and no Republicans.

Today we are proud to present our interview with Billboards Against Obama. They're a fast-growing site that have received high praise in the short time that they have been running ads. They were gracious enough to take some time and answer some of our questions.

1. When and why did you start Billboards Against Obama?

This initiative was conceived about two months ago by a group of small business owners and the site went live in the last week. Donations have been coming in for the last week and range from one dollar to $3200.

2. What is your overall goal?

The overall goal is to awaken more taxpayers and other citizens to the dangers of dependency and collectivism being promoted by the Obama administration. As the founders emphasized, a spirited debate is in the best interests of our republic.

First, we want to catch people’s attention and heighten their awareness to the path we are on as a nation and secondly, provide education in the principles of freedom and the character qualities of personal responsibility, service, work ethic, thrift, and self-motivation. We are especially interested in providing resources for those who haven’t typically been involved in politics, but now feel compelled to get out of the stands and onto the field to make a difference for the generations to come.

3. Has President Obama been better or worse than you expected/feared?

In virtually every category the president has behaved in office as expected (unfortunately). With very little due diligence, any voter or potential voter could have learned (before the election) much about Barack Obama’s personal philosophies which clash severely with the principles and intentions of the Founding Fathers. And his lack of experience in the business sector, as a chief executive, or service in the military rounds out his distinct worldview and shallow resume as president of the United States.

4. Any favorites yet for the 2012 presidential race?

We would certainly like to support a candidate who understands and appreciates the private sector(and has a successful track record) and the contribution that free markets have made to the dramatic prosperity of our nation. Secondly, we would like to support a candidate who values the Constitution and the principles of individual liberty outlined by the Framers. This candidate should appeal to taxpayers and to all citizens who understand the virtue of limited government and the dangers demonizing America’s most productive. Last but not least, this candidate must have the ability to articulate freedom principles in a clear and simple fashion so he connects with a widespread group of voters.

5. What has been the best part about running your site?

The best part has been the amazing support in a short amount of time from Americans across the country who have learned of our efforts and have reinforced our determination with their donations and with their words of encouragement. In the brief time we have been up and running, we appear to be giving an outlet or platform for those who feel their voice has been smothered by the mainstream media and those seeking to be taken care of as wards of the state.

6. Are you afraid of any backlash?

We anticipate a backlash and the standard labels that are likely to be hurled by those who cannot defend the philosophy or policies of the president on its merits. Liberty isn’t free and spreading the truth will always be met with resistance. We intend to stimulate a spirited and respectful debate that will have ramifications for generations to come.

Gimme That Filet-o-Fish: Man Slaps McD Worker for Fish Filet

Well, I gus they didn't put this in the commercials, but it seems like the filet-o-fish must be a really, really good deal.

Police said the customer crawled out of his car and into the drive thru window to get his fish sandwich, after slapping the McDonald's employee in the face.

"His Filet-O-Fish was taking too long at 4:30 in the morning," said South Brunswick Police Detective Sergeant James Ryan to NBCNewYork.

According to Ryan, the customer yelled at the employee and pushed him against the counter.

"After he slaps him, he takes his food," said Ryan.

Perhaps suggesting how hungry the suspect was, Ryan said he then threatened the employee by telling him "I'll be waiting for you when you get off work."

Sounds like a good idea for a commercial.

U.S. Senate Candidate Gwyndolyn McClellan (R, FL): "The United States of America... is one of the most Corrupt and Valueless Countries that Exist"

I have recently been interviewing Republican Senatorial candidates throughout this nation; regardless of how small or how low their chances, I believe this is important because in our nation, anyone can do anything. I also tried to interview Republican Gwyndolyn McClellan, who is running in Florida. While Ms. McClellan was very kind in her emails, she did not want to participate in an interview. Then she wrote me why.

Here now, in its entirety, is Gwyndolyn McClellan's opinion of the United States and our system of government:

"This race, along with every political race in this country, has already been set up: this race is set up for either Charlie Christ or Marco Rubio to win. This country runs around the world advocating to other countries that they should conform their ways and adopt a democratic nation. And yet the United States of America, as a democractic society, is one of the most corrupt and valueless countries that exist. If you can show me one political race that was not set up by the "so-called preceived leaders of this country," then I will apologize to everyone for what I have said. And if minorities do have a chance to win a senate seat, they had better move to Illinois.

Of course, Florida does have minority representation in the congress and at the state level. These are minorities that are cherry-picked by the "so-called perceived leaders" of this country because they are certain that none of them will stand up and rock the boat. Please don't get me wrong: I certainly understand and am sympathetic to minorities. I know that they want to hold offices and I empathize with them in recognizing that they have to do exactly what they are told to do or they will not get ahead in life. So, I can understand why they conduct themselves in the manner that they do.

But it does anger me when I read in the paper (the few times that I bother to read it) that Condelessa Rice says that she learned in Washington to always say positive things and not be critical. Well, I guess Condelessa Rice does not ever plan to run for a political office. I think that what Condelessa Rice should have said was that it depends on what position you are holding that will determine whether or not you can speak your true feelings. It makes me angry when I hear Condelessa Rice saying that she didn't need affirmative action to get her job. No, on one hand she is right: she didn't need affirmative action because she has exceptional skills and she is a very intelligent person and should be able to use those qualities to get a job. But on the other hand Condelessa Rice was wrong because she lives in the United States of America and the only way that she even got to the position that she was in was through affirmative action: There were not enough honest people living in this country who would recognize Condelessa for what she really had to offer in a job except by the force of the affirmative action system. I know that I am picking on Condi right now, so Condi please forgive m,e but I want to use you as an example of what I am talking about when it comes to minorites having to do just exactly what they are told to do or they want be able to get key jobs like Condelessa had. Condelessa Rice worked for Bush and still does. Condelessa Rice did not work for this country. But she had no choice. If she wanted to ever serve as the Secretary of State, she knew that she had better do exactly what the Bushes told her to do. It saddens me that this is the twenty-first century and forty-years after this country lost thousands of lives fighting for the rights for minorities to have equal rights and yet, for minorities, those equal rights still don't exist.

I look around me and see multiple numbers of women in political offices, hosting television shows, and holding key level executive management positions. And yet, when you turn on the television set, you will see a few minorities holding down secondary positions. I am always asking myself, "Was the sixties just about women getting all the positions?" I don't remember all these women marching in the street and fighting. But I do recall them jumping on the band wagon, after the fighting was over and saying that they were minorities too. But they didn't want to be classified as a minority (that was beneath them). Instead, they wanted to have ... they insisted that they have their own special little slot ... just for women. O.K. But I have never heard any women's organization stand up and say that we should be trying to get more minority women in key level offices. Just as the "so-called perceived leaders" of this country, the women leaders cherry pick their minorities.

I believe that Blacks are worse off than any other minority group. It is a well-known fact that the majority population looks at the Hispanic population in a much fairer way than they do Blacks. After all, speaking spanish shows how intelligent you are. In the United States Senate, you have many women and you have Hispanics. How many Blacks do you have? You have had a total of six Blacks to serve in the United States Senate, and shamefully, the senators fought to keep Senator Roland Burris out. It was the governor of Illinois that commited the crime: not Senator Roland Burris.

Three of the Blacks who have served in the United States Senate came out of Illinois, and the other three Blacks who have served, served during "racially-tensed" periods in this country. "There have been 38 women in the United States Senate since the establishment of that body in 1789. Women were first elected in number in 1992. Today, 17 of the 100 U.S. Senators are women. Thirteen of the women who have served were appointed; seven of those were appointed to succeed their deceased husbands.Representation of Hispanics is somewhat complex, particularly because of the different ways to define membership in this group. Hispanics represent over 14% of the U.S. population, while the Senate is 3% Hispanic and the House is approximately 5% (25 members) Hispanic. Considering that Hispanics make up only 4% of American voters, Hispanic political incorporation has been relatively high compared with previous immigrant groups." (Wikipedia Encyclopedia).

Some of you will call me a racist. That is fine with me, but God knows and I know that I am not a racist. But I am a minority who will speak out, who will stand up and say that this is wrong, and who will not become a puppet on a string for anybody except for God above. If ever a Black was to win the senate race in Florida, it would never be me ... I cannot be controlled except by God.

I lie in my bed at night and during the day my heart is heavy-ridden and saddened because I worry about the the youth of today and tomorrow ... the future of our youth ... especially the minority youth. I worry about what is happening to minorities, right now, who cannot find jobs. I wonder about all the minority kids that are being beat up by the police department just because they can get away with it (and don't lie to me and tell me that this is not true because it is happening). What is going to happen to these kids when there is no justice, there is no fairness, there is no honesty, there are no morals that guide the "so-called leaders" of this country? Abraham Lincoln stated that this country will be destroyed from within and not from without. His words resonate truth in the twenty-first century.

That is all that I have to say. You can print this or throw it in the trash."

Today, Senatorial Candidate Kim Hendren answered questions for the site. Mr. Hendren is running in the state of Arkansas; he has taught, has been a successful business man, and graduated from the University of Arkansas. We here at JiP would like to thank Mr. Hendren for his participation:

What makes you the best candidate for Arkansas?

My age, 72, and good health (typically, my day is from 5:30am to 11pm, 7 days a week, including two or three church services every Sunday, one at a local nursing home); Experience in speaking up for those who elect me to represent them (Gravette City Council, Gravette School Board, Arkansas House of Representatives, and Arkansas Senate, twice - the first time as a conservative democrat 1979 - was a conservative democrat opponent of Bill Clinton in the democratic primary for governor in 1982 - as history shows, Bill and Hillary won!) The founders were citizen legislators - that's what I am and have always been - check the records of all eight of us - including the financial disclosures of the three of us who have served in the Arkansas Legislature. I have a minor league record in politics, business, farming, and public service!

You have a very excellent career in the working sector, you are a successful business man, you were a former teacher, and you graduated from the University of Arkansas. How would these notable qualifications help you as a United States Senator?

I have often said, "It helps to practice what you teach BEFORE you teach it to others!" I understand the impact of government on all areas of our society since I have been, and still am, active in all these areas. And I speak up as well as vote (without checking which way the wind is blowing!)

As a public servant, what has been your proudest moment?

So many, helping save the Decatur Schools, the Gravette Hospital, supporting the 13,000 acre Hobbs Estate Property, helping create the Northwest Arkansas Conservation Authority (a waste treatment plant to serve all NW Arkansas, over 500,000 people and protect our beautiful Ozarks) - but perhaps the best was being the state senator who helped create Northwest Arkansas Community College which now serves over 8,000 young people who are our future! I have attached a couple of photos.

What plans do you have to help Arkansas economically?

First, our family is creating jobs (plastics company, tool and die shop, car dealerships (being reinstated as Chevrolet dealer), radio station, and realty company! I will support a do-over of the health care bill with one that includes things I have worked on in the Arkansas Senate (tort reform, insurance competition, increasing number of doctors and nurses with additional educational facilities). I will support helping our community banks to make loans to small business people, I will support efforts that move people into productive work!

What are your feelings on the newly passed Health Care Bill? If elected, would you work to overturn it?

Arkansas is one of the most beautiful states in the United States. What is your favorite aspect of Arkansas?

Yes it is! I am so blessed that my great grandfather, Captain William Hicks Hendren who was a school teacher and fought in the Civil War Battle of Pea Ridge, moved his family to Gravette, AR in 1858! I was born on the bank of Spavinaw Creek just south east of Gravette and still live only 3 miles from that starting point. The Ozarks are beautiful all year round and here in NW Arkansas we can share flavor of the hills of SW Missouri, including Branson, and the western culture of NE Oklahoma (which was Oklahoma Territory when Capt. Hendren chose to settle here). So, you see, I do like to brag!

Anything else you would like to add?

Thanks for asking! This election is VERY IMPORTANT! I pray that this US Senator is selected on the things that matter most to the common people - not insiders, big business, big labor, lobbyists, and money from outside our state of Arkansas. Your efforts in helping folks know us better is a step in that direction!

Observing Earth Hour.

Between the hours of 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM, I will be observing Earth Hour in a Conservative fashion that would make Thomas Edison smile with excitement and wonderment. In short, all the lights that are never on during the Night; will be bright and shining tonight! Call it a peasants revolt, because I refuse to submit to Al Gore proposals.

For most American families Earth Hour is observed on a regular basis, because we want to save a few extra bucks, not a few extra polar bears. To be realistic, if one wants to attack someone for leaving lights on; attack the children. Being a former child, leaving the lights on when no-one is home, leaving an unused room, or just to aggravate your parents, is a normal part of life.

I don't believe the Earth is Warming.

I don't believe the Polar Bears are near extinction.

I don't believe turning off lights for one hour will make a difference.

I guess I also don't believe we landed on the Moon, that Hitler murdered 6 million Jews or that the Earth is a Sphere, that's according to the Alarmists who call people like me, "deniers". Well, I don't believe in the above mentioned items, because I know they occurred, when compared to global warming, which hasn't happened and cannot be proved.

Republicans Lead in CA Gov, Senate Race

Some potentially explosive news has come out of a recent PPIC poll. Since Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is retiring, the Republican Party is looking to provide a successor. In this race Meg Whitman leads former Governor Jerry Brown by three points. It's early in the game, but Jerry Brown is extremely well-known and cannot get more than 41% in a poll? Also, Brown is down two points since the last poll and Whitman is up eight.

In the Senate race Republican Tom Campbell now leads incumbent Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer by one point. Carly Fiorina, the former HP executive who has taken the GOP primary lead, trails by one.

Boxer has tekn a hit against all three of her Republican opponents. And for an incumbent of almost two decades to not reach above 50% this early in the game is a telling indicator.

I can't say if the GOP will win, but it's certainly not looking good for the Dems.

Also, 15 of the above mentioned lapdog bluedog Democrats who voted for Obamacare, reside in Republican controlled districts. I hope that our candidates in these congressional districts are preparing for at least one term in Washington.

Britain Expelling Israeli Diplomat

Some interesting news out of the United Kingdom. Apparently Great Britain has decided to expel an Israeli diplomat over the accused killing of Hamas members in Dubai. This comes after a British judge indicted former Israeli Cabinet Minister Tzipi Livni on 'war crimes.'

So this news looks like it's not major, but it's certainly an annoyance to Israel who was just defending its people and interests (and that of the United States, I might add) by blowing away some Hamas scumbags.

The Israeli ambassador to London, Ron Prosor, was summoned to the U.K. Foreign Office in February to discuss the charges, but he flatly denied there was any "additional information" to give.

Sky News' foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said, "The (U.K.) government believes they have compelling evidence that those passports were cloned, probably by some arm of the Israeli state."

Interview With Barack Obama's Cousin

This time we're interviewing Dr. Milton Wolf, editor of the Wolf Files and maternal cousin to the President. From his about page: I am a practicing diagnostic radiologist with sub-specialization in oncology, musculoskeletal and cardiac imaging. I currently practice at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Johnson County Imaging Center and Kansas City Cancer Center in Shawnee Mission, KS.

1. When and why did you start the Wolf Files?

Although Barack Obama is my cousin, as a practicing physician, I stand opposed to ObamaCare or any other form of government-run health care. Instead I stand for my patients, my profession and ultimately my country. I consider this a call to duty and launched The Wolf Files in January. I recognize also that health care is but one arena where our liberties are under assault. I champion individual liberty, the free market, low taxes, personal responsibility, property rights and a strong national defense. Wherever our freedoms are at risk, I’ll be there.

2. As the President's cousin, have you met the man and how are your relations with his branch of the family?

I am proud to call the McCurry family my own. We are the maternal side of the president’s family. Among us are doctors & lawyers, soldiers & teachers, CEO’s & workers. We are a diverse group in just about every way – ethnically, politically, geographically – but we are family. I claim to speak for no one at The Wolf Files but myself although it’s safe to say that we are all very proud of Barack’s achievements – and America’s – particularly in respect to the acceptance of diversity. I strictly limit my public opinions to policy rather than family matters. As far as my difference in opinions with any other members of the family in particular, I’ll just say that I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m seated at the kids’ table next Thanksgiving.

3. Has President Obama disappointed you thus far? Has he exceeded expectations?

I make no secret that I have a very different vision for America than does Barack. He believes in the government and I believe in the people. I envision an America where the government values liberty and an empowered people are allowed, even encouraged, to self-govern. I ascribe no malice towards Barack’s motivations, but I do believe his understanding of our country is simply wrong.

Barack’s statist agenda is not at all surprising but neither is the impressive libertarian renaissance that it has engendered. We are seeing this namely in the form of the Tea Party movement. Indeed, it is quite heartening to see the people remind the ruling class – much to their chagrin -- that their opportunity to govern is only loaned to them at the discretion of the people.

4. Any favorites for the 2012 GOP nomination yet?

There are many contenders I find interesting though I have no affiliation with anyone yet. Palin is fascinating and Gingrich is intriguing. Both would have their own challenges. I’ve long admired Romney as an incredibly capable man. Huckabee probably is the best gifted at connecting to an audience. Pawlenty and Thune are also interesting. I’m actually very excited about and welcome the tea party movement contribution to the process. I believe it will make for the best possible nominating process.

5. What is the best part of running your site?

The Wolf Files has given me the opportunity to meet and hear from a number of interesting people across the country. It’s really been fun. Plus there’s Joe Biden. My readers know that I have an irreverent and, at times, snarky sense of humor and, let’s face it, Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving.

At this point in my life, with the demands of a medical practice, running a business and caring for a family, it’s hard to imagine running for office. Still, if we indeed hold dear our nation, at some point, we must be willing to take a stand, put aside personal pursuits and fight for our vision of America.

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each state, chosen by the Legislature thereof for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. - Original version of Article 1, Section 3, Clause 1 of the United States Constitution.

There was a reason for the legislature of the various states to have ultimate control over who was the Senator. While it might be hard for progressives to swallow, but the Founding Fathers believed the United States should be a Republic for which it stands one Nation under God, and that includes the various states having an equal vote in the United States Senate.

The Founders established the House of Representatives to be the voice of the people, but the United States Senate was established to be the voice of the states, and the states alone. Being important for America, is that the people of the United States have a voice in the House, but it was just as important for the states to have an equal voice in the Senate, so legislation that infringed on the tenth amendment or was bad for the states, would be defeated.

Not to mention, the Founders believed in states rights, and that the states deserved just as much of a voice at the table via the Senate, as the people have via the House. Before the progressive era, the tenth amendment meant alot.

During the progressive era, nothing was safe. Knowing that elected representatives of the United States Senate would oppose much of their agenda, progressives sought the destruction of all Constitutional barriers to their utopia agenda, including one of the longest standing passages in the Articles of the Constitution.

Because of that change, we now have Senators such as Senator Nelson of Nebraska, who ignores the will of the Nebraska people, Governor, and legislature without regard for the effects of horrific legislation on the populace. If the 17th amendment was to be repealed, we would have folks who were elected to represent the states as a whole, and restore another piece to the Republican form of government puzzle, which has been missing..

Repeal the 17th amendment? Right on! This is America, we are a Republic, not a damn Democracy.

A campaign that wasn't supposed to be

In a township of just 1,600 voters, the race for Town Supervisor in little known Richmondville New York, put a whole new meaning to the phrase, "every vote counts". Just a few weeks ago, a small, yet hot blooded town of 3,000 citizens, was in the midst of one of the most interesting elections one person could ever encounter.

Supervisor John Barlow (R) wasn't supposed to be running for re-election, as the death of his beloved wife of decades and the loss of his leg because of diabetes, painted a bleak picture for the future of the longtime Councilman and one term Supervisor, however, due to lack of another Republican to run for the seat, Barlow decided to run for another term, and perhaps his last two years in public office.

Local Republicans were concerned with the electoral chances of Supervisor Barlow, as his ability to campaign was limited, and the campaign consisted of a few advertisements in the paper, a local appearance touting local Republicans seeking elected office, final weekend campaigning of a few supporters, and a last minute mailer to the voters of Richmondville.

Facing off against John Barlow was Scott Bennett, an inexperienced Councilman whom was just elected to the Town Board in 2008, the longtime Democrat was running a strong campaign, however, with the 2009 economic recession affecting Americans all across the Nation, experience was golden for candidates across the board.

With the 2009 elections nearing, the Supervisor election was expected to be a nail biter, as the longtime Republican councilman who was elected as Supervisor with under 50% of the vote in 2007, because of fractures amongst left-of-center voters, would tout his years of service to the Town, and the experience he could provide during these tough times, something his Democratic opponent could not offer.

Election day

Its amazing, candidates will spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on a local election over the timeline of months, and it all comes down to just fifteen hours of voting. The polls opened as a beautiful morning was just beginning, however, nightfall would bring a long night of wondering as Republicans and Democrats watched the results stream in.

Turnout was respectable, however, those who remained on the sidelines must have regretted their choice of ignoring an important local election, with the closest election I have ever witnessed.

With all votes counted, Supervisor John Barlow trailed his Democratic opponent by a margin of just two votes, with dozens of absentee ballots yet to be counted. The feeling was unrealistic, that such an important election, could come down to so few voters, a wake up call for those who dismiss their sacred vote, a vote secured through two hundred years of Americans fighting for freedom.

Two weeks later, the local Board of Elections counted the last of absentee ballots in the Richmondville Supervisor election, the full measure of a the American vote was realized on this morning, as it was announced Supervisor John Barlow was re-elected to the highest office in this small town, by just one vote.

346 citizens voted for John Barlow, 345 citizens voted for his Democratic opponent, 80 citizens skipped this election while filling out their ballots, and one vote was void.

What to learn from this election

The next time someone declares "your vote doesn't count", I want you to remember the Supervisor election in a little town, the United States Senate election in Minnesota, and the close Congressional elections in both of New York's special elections in 2009.

Your vote does count, please don't waste it.

On a side note, the 2009 election was not just a great testament to the value of the American vote, but it appeared as though John Barlow was revitalized, as though a man was born anew. Another testament of this election, never give up, even during the worst of times.

Obamacare and the Constitution.

This health care battle is not to just defeat socialism, the destruction of the greatest health care system in the world, and to defend freedom at all costs. This battle is also about the United States Constitution, and whether we as a Nation will follow the words of freedom, small government, and Individualism.

The United States Constitution is specific, it details the freedoms the government must protect at all costs, and leaves all other rights to the various states in the land, and the people of the United States, while at the same including the rules of governing for the United States, a perfect balance.

Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution has a detailed list of what the United States Congress has Constitutional authority over, and absent from the list, is government run health care, along with the lacking of authority to mandate the American populace to purchase something or else be sent to jail.

The tenth amendment of the United States Constitution is specific about who controls the powers not delegated to the federal government, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.", notice it does include Congress, the Executive branch, or congressional Democrats.

Besides for the facts, that the proposed health care plans will raise taxes, push the destruction of Capitalism, give the government more control, install a health care system which does not work, provide for taxpayer funded abortions, jail Americans who just want their freedom, raise costs, add trillions more to the national debt, allow illegal immigrants to receive health care, provides for millions of Americans to receive something they have no right to (health insurance), pushes individual freedom and personal responsibility down the toilet, and will lead to lower survival rates, fewer doctors, and rationing, all Democratic legislation proposed is against the Constitution.

In the end, just one document counts, the United States Constitution. It is about time, we focus more on what it declares, instead of what proponents of government health care demand.

If this legislation does pass, I hope Conservative lawyers across the Nation will launch lawsuits against the legislation, reach the United States Supreme Court, and the Justices will rule the legislation as unconstitutional. If that does not happen, America is over, once and for all.

Congressman Walt Minnick (D - Idaho's 1st congressional district) has just sealed his defeat in the 2010 congressional elections, as the first elected Democrat to the United States House of Representatives from Idaho in decades, Minnick was expected to have a tough election next year, however, after his "aye" vote this afternoon on H.R. 4173, his defeat is guaranteed.

Congressman Walt Minnick was elected to the House of Representatives as a fiscal Conservative, while having a liberal belief system on all other issues. During his first term in the House of Representatives, Minnick has voted as a fiscal Conservative on most if not all economic related legislation, however, this afternoon Minnick supported legislation that can be described alone as fascist.

According to Open Congress, The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009 will "overhaul regulations in the financial sector. It would establish a new Consumer Financial Protection Agency to regulate products like home mortgages, car loans and credit cards, give the Treasury Department new authority to place non-bank financial firms, like insurance companies into receivership and regulate the over-the-counter derivatives market.", in other words - more government control.

This legislation is awful and pure evil, as it will establish more government control over the economics of Americans and businesses alike, the United States Chamber of Commerce has launched an advertisement campaign against the legislation, and all 175 Republicans present this afternoon voted against the legislation, with 27 Democrats opposing the legislation as well.

Congressman Walt Minnick, a supposed "blue dog Democrat" from Idaho, supported and voted for this horrific legislation, which will allow more government interference into the private market, push our economic system to resemble a fascist regime instead of a Capitalistic system, and provides for a 6 billion dollar bribe to appease the corrupt Congressional Black Caucus.

Several Conservative Republicans are running against Minnick, all of them deserve our support as they seek to reclaim Idaho's first congressional district as a Conservative Republican district, with real fiscal Conservative representation.

Spitzer might run for New York State Comptroller.

Eliot Spitzer, the former Governor of New York who resigned after his sexual exploits with numerous prostitutes was exposed, is considering a run for the Democrat nomination, to be the Democratic candidate for State Comptroller. Thomas DiNalopi, the current Comptroller who was elected to that position via the state legislature after Alan Hevesi resigned (another Democrat violating the law), is considered a weak Democratic candidate for the 2010 elections, and thus Spitzer might be an appealing candidate.

New York is one of the most unstable governments in the Union, as the state is deep in red ink, we have one of the most incompetent Governors ever to be in office, the corruption of Democrats has spread since all branches of Government are controlled by Democrats, and now we have the possibility of Eliot Spitzer running for public office again.

Can it get worse?

It was bad enough the people of New York elected Spitzer in the first place to the executive branch, than as Governor he screwed the people of New York in regards to public trust, misuse of state troopers, not to mention he broke the law numerous times, and was pushing legislation to allow illegal immigrants to have drivers licences in New York, when they should not be in the United States, at all.

Knowing the voters of New York, I wonder if Spitzer would be denied election to serve as Comptroller, considering New York is the state of Senator Schumer, Congressman Rangel, Congressman Owens, Governor Paterson, among numerous other corrupt Democrats who use public office as a personal trough.

I would not trust Eliot Spitzer with a female member of the human species, why would the citizens of New York trust the dirtbag with one ounce of power, let alone the duties of auditing government operations and the state retirement system. If Spitzer runs for Comptroller, I hope the citizens of New York have at least one minuscule ounce of ethics and the rule of law left inside of them, because if Spitzer was to be elected, I would file a lawsuit against the citizens of New York for stupidity.

While Spitzer is just considering a run at this point, I guarantee, if Spitzer does run for State Comptroller, I will invest all hours of the day to defeat this scumbag, as he has no place or right to be within a mile of public office, after the disgusting behavior he exhibited as Governor of New York.

Black GOP candidate for Congress - "Reid needs a History lesson".

Yesterday, it was reported Senator Reid compared those who opposed the Democratic legislation in regards to health care, are the same as those who defended slavery, and he said so on the floor of the United States Senate. Republicans and Conservatives alike are demanding an apology, as Democrats are reaching a new low in comparing those who are standing for freedom......to those who enslaved men against their will.

Does it surprise me?

No. Considering we have been called terrorists, racists, Nazis, un-American, evil, and accused of supporting a health care system, where the plan for Seniors is "die". It is funny, because the health care plan the Democrats are pushing, will raise the debt, increase taxes, lead to rationing of seniors, the destruction of freedom in the health care market, violates the Constitution, etc. sounds like the evil plan to me.

Senator Reid's ignorance in regards to historical facts is saddening, thus Isaac Hayes, a candidate for the Republican nomination, and soon Republican candidate for Congress in Illinois second congressional district, in which he will face off against the corrupt Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., released a brief press release schooling Senator Reid.

However, I can feel a tide turning in America, perhaps Isaac Hayes is apart of that tide. Isaac Hayes was interviewed two months ago by a conservative website.

Political correctness is on the move, meaning the forces of tradition, freedom, and common sense need to unite for yet another fight. The next target of political correctness - the official name of the state of Rhode Island, which is Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. In a stunning case of ignorance, racebaiters and political correctness hacks are claiming the official name of Rhode Island, which includes the word "plantations" is insulting and a black mark on the state in regards to slavery.

There is just one problem with the claims, the original name of Rhode Island, was Providence Plantations as named by Roger Williams, with Providence in regards to divine providence, and Plantations in regards to the British term for colonies. After internal problems within Providence Plantations, Roger Williams was able to unite the colony and applied for a charter, with the revised named of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

The charter was issued to the "Incorporation of Providence Plantations in the Narragansett Bay in New England." It gave the people power to govern themselves, but was simply a charter of incorporation and contained no land grant.² The town of Warwick had now been founded, and the four towns were united under the new charter. But the union was short-lived. Coddington, in 1648, obtained a separate charter for Portsmouth and Newport. But this action was not satisfactory, and after a bitter quarrel of several years the four towns were again united under the charter secured by Williams.
After the Restoration, however, this charter granted by Parliament was not considered valid, and in 1663 Roger Williams secured from Charles II a second charter for "Rhode Island and Providence Plantations," which confirmed the privileges granted by the first, made a land grant, and provided that no one be molested "for any difference in opinion in matters of religion.

Even with the facts easily at hand, political correctness is still roaring towards the destruction of the official name of Rhode Island, which has been in place for over 300 years. Meaning the heritage of Rhode Island, the tradition of their longstanding name, and freedom itself will be on the ballot next year, as voters will have the opportunity to either defeat or appease political correctness, and incorrect facts.

William Jacobson, the well known blogger who operates Legal Insurrection, opined on this upcoming situation just last month, and provided this article when answering an email requesting comment.

My home state of Rhode Island is quirky place. We still celebrate Victory Over Japan Day in August, although the name was changed to VJ Day and then to Victory Day, in a nod to political correctness. Now there is a move afoot to change the name of the state for similar reasons.

The official name of Rhode Island is "State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations." Voters will have a chance in 2010 to remove the reference to "Providence Plantations" as part of a referendum pushed by advocates who argue that the reference to "plantations" is insensitive to blacks and perpetuates a racist image.

Mr.Jacobson believes the referendum will fail, however, liberalism as evil as it is, never takes a minute off from its destructive agenda, and neither should we. The advocates of this political neutering of Rhode Island's official name are idiots, regardless of their claims, because the historic name has nothing to do with slavery and does not perpetuate a racist image with a sane individual.

This is not just a issue for Rhode Island, it has national implications. If we lose this fight in Rhode Island, to where the non-racist official name of a individual state is smeared and destructed because of political correctness, what will occur in the other 49 states across America? Will all names that have one reference to race, slavery, or the word "plantations" be targeted for execution?

I hope not, for the sake of freedom, tradition, and heritage. The Founders warned us about the meanings of words being changed, well........we are now at a point where the meanings and historic value of words are being manipulated or incorrectly presented as to fit the political agenda of political correctness.

Dangerous times indeed.

Also, if plantations is causing folks to have a racist image of Rhode Island, then why are the political correctness fools going after providence at the same time? This has nothing to do with race, its about the destruction of our heritage, religious and otherwise.

The day that I was waiting for has finally come. North Korea has finally designed the perfect set of jeans and is selling them-- unfortunately we can't get them in the United States. However, if you'd like, you can run over to Sweden and pick me up a pair.

Just look for the "Noko" label.

North Korea, a country better known for its reclusive nature than fashionable clothes, rarely allows outsiders within its borders and has virtually no trade or diplomatic relations with most Western countries. Sweden, one of only seven countries to have an embassy in North Korea, is an exception.

But the process of agreeing a deal to produce just 1,100 pairs of jeans -- the first ever produced by the country, according to the founders -- often proved baffling. E-mails vanished into a void and communications were strained.

There's only 1,100! Man, we've got to buy them while they're out.

Situation :

Conditions in the War of Afghanistan are not great, we need an Iraqi like surge to defeat the forces of evil in Afghanistan, and to claim victory. Though, we have helped the Nation of Afghanistan over the past eight years, our mission of defeating the forces of evil which are our enemy, needs to be forced into hyper drive.

Solution :

According to our General's on the ground, we need 40,000 to 60,000 additional troops on the ground in Afghanistan. Simple enough.

Reasoning of an insane individual :

We need to send 10,000 troops less then what we need, and push welfare instead of warfare.

Reasoning of a sane individual :

Listen to our Generals, send in 40,000 to 60,000 additional troops, kill all of the forces of evil, and win the war.

The reality is, the insane individual is the Commander in Chief of America as it stands, meaning we are not doing what needs to be done, to win this war. I want to win this war, not end it. What is in ending the war, if we don't win the war?

Jackie Seal is the next teen Conservative wonder in the movement, blogosphere, and even a few Conservative bloggers are hoping she dates their Sons..... Moving on, Ms.Seal was standing on line in Grand Rapids Michigan, a diehard fan of Sarah Palin, hoping to get her copy of Going Rogue autographed by her idol. Well, a few trolls from MSNBC, that call themselves reporters, we're going through the crowd looking for Palinites to interview, well along came Jackie, and the ambush which would follow.

I knew I was walking into hot water with MSNBC- thought I was prepared….Seconds later I met her… One of the many faces of liberal media bias. She asked me my name and then before going on air asked me why I liked Sarah Palin, I repeated what I told the NYT reporter. Norah didn’t seem to like that much. So what did she do? I mean she couldn’t ask me that question on television, heaven forbid her not have a biting response.. I noticed her look down at my shirt then, she turned around blackberry in hand spoke to a man, thumbs tapping the blackberry (I don’t remember if she called or not, she may have. But she was on her blackberry), then jotted down a quick note. Little did I know that note would be used against me. She told us she’d be walking up to us. You know like she just stumbled upon us. The shot began… I kept telling myself answer her question well, don’t freak out. Well, I thought she’d ask me the same question. She asked the man beside me (who by the way is NOT my dad) the same question she had before we went on air. Myself on the other hand, not the same story. She had me read my shirt and then proceeded to ask me “Did you know Sarah Palin supported the bailout” to be 100% honest I was like, are you kidding me? She is trying to use my shirt against me. I was so shocked by the craftiness she had that I was truly stumped. I asked her where she got her fact and she read her little note. Then she asked me what I liked about Sarah, and I talked about the Constitution. Immediately after the interview I said to my dad “Oh man, I have so many great responses now about my shirt” I could have said, well my shirt doesn’t say anything about Sarah Palin supporting the bailout or “Hey Norah, have you read the book? She talks about how during her debate prep she was handed a list of note cards that had questions and ‘non-answers’” Of course they told Sarah Palin to support everything McCain did. Call me crazy but it would have looked pretty bad had Sarah Palin been against something John McCain was against while they were running together. Norah also claims I told her I voted (on her twitter). That is not true. She never asked my age or if I voted. I’m 17 I couldn’t have voted…and I don’t live in an ACORN district so I didn’t have a chance to even register illegally. Making that statement by Norah completely false.

Ms.Seal is quite the impressive heroine in the Conservative movement, as she not only stood strong for Sarah Palin, a beloved figure in the movement, she also stood strong against the elites at MSNBC, who would embarrasses a seventeen year old just to make a point, look who was embarrassed.

Who's Most Likely to Vote Against the Health Care Bill

In looking at the voting records and personal feelings of some of the Democrats in the Senate, it can be shown that the following are most likely to vote against the health care plan. Many of these have different reasons, but they could hold the key (or the lock) to passing the bill.

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA)

Already has over $100 million in the bill for state funding in her pocket for voting yes. While this may certainly seem attractive, it could also be seen as back-door corruption. If the issue gets hot enough, she might have to back off or be seen as a pork guzzler.

Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE)

Nelson is from one of the reddest states in the Union, and while well-liked, he could be facing a large backlash for his vote. Not only this, he could ruin the chances for other Democrats seeking Nebraska office. Nelson has already stated that he is against a public option being run by the feds and wants to see it done by the states. Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN)

Bayh is a moderate from a state which gave George W. Bush 60% in 2004. Even though President Obama narrowly won the state last year, the fading of Obamamania and smaller turnout could destroy other Dems. Bayh voted for debate, but has expressed doubt about the bill.

Blanche Lincoln (D-AR)

A formerly relatively unknown Senator from Arkansas she faces an uphill battle no matter what she does. She's already seeing opponents nearly tying her, while polls suggest that if she votes yes on the bill, she might as well retire. She has also threatened a filibuster against the bill despite voting to debate.

Bernie Sanders (Socialist-VT)

One of only two independents in the Senate, you might be surprised to see Sanders' name. However, the Vermont Socialist has stated that he would vote down a health care bill that did not include the public option. He has also stated that his support for the bill is "in no ways guaranteed."

Sherrod Brown (D-OH)

Brown, elected in the Democratic wave of 2006, is giving similar warnings as Sanders. Brown, whose term is not up next year, is worried that the Democrats have already given up enough to the Republicans and moderate Democrats.

Olympia Snowe (R-ME)

One of the two liberal Republicans elected to the Senate from Maine, Snowe has signaled that she will likely vote for President Obama's health care plan. There have been signs, however, that conservatives in the party want to challenge the Senator-- and voting yes could cause this to happen. This could even create a situation where Snowe changes parties.

Joe Lieberman (I-CT)

The Independent Democrat has bucked the party's trends since 2002, and looks like he might be voting against the bill. Lieberman, who might not run for reelection in 2012, may not care if the left wing of his party challenged him again. Lieberman has also stated that he opposes a public option. Fearing an increasing deficit, Lieberman may vote no.

Susan Collins (R-ME)

Collins appears to have no major qualms with the substance of the bill, but may wind up voting no because the bill as presented may not lower overall medical costs.

My prediction:

All of these Senators, with the exception of Lieberman and Nelson will likely vote yes. Even Lincoln appears to please the party apparatus and looks unlikely to win in 2010 anyway.

Last weekend, I warned about the dangers of Republican candidates focusing on Iowa during the 2012 Presidential primaries, as Iowa has become a reliable state for Democrats, and if a Republican wants to win the nomination, their focus needs to be directed towards the Southern and Western United States.

When the discussion shifts into a possible Sarah Palin run for the Republican nomination, she needs to focus on South Carolina, she needs to direct attention to the Southern states, and resources towards the Western states. Remember, Mike Huckabee has a solid base in the South, and Mitt Romney has a solid base in the West, Sarah Palin needs to battle both of them in both of these all important areas.

To focus too much time or money into Iowa is a blatant waste of resources, South Carolina will be the promise land for either Huckabee or Palin across the South, Iowa holds no leverage, and New Hampshire will go to the liberalist of candidates, which in a Palin-Huckabee-Romney scenario would be Romney.

If I was preparing for a 2012 blitzkrieg during the primaries, I would not be focusing on Iowa, I would be focusing on South Carolina, Florida, the South in general, and the West, those are the states Sarah Palin would need in order to win the nomination, Iowa would drain resources out of a 50 state battle.

Senator Lieberman, caucus with GOP.

Senator Lieberman would be the most liberal member of the Republican caucus, however, he would be a member we could depend on in regards to health care, national defense, and other issues. While Senator Lieberman would 85% of the time vote with Democrats on most domestic issues, he would be a strong opponent of weakening our national defense, and he causes hatred in progressive circles which Republicans can't match.

I am proposing that Senator Lieberman caucus with the Republicans, as though he has numerous Democratic leanings, he also has Conservative streaks which fit into his "Independent" label, however, he is the most hated member of the Democratic caucus, and it was a miracle he was not punished last year for supporting McCain, and Palin.

Senator Lieberman has become one of our largest allies in fighting against the government takeover of health care, a more reliable opponent of the government option then Senator Snowe, however, Lieberman has also put his political career and soul on the line, his Chairmanship of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs could be revoked, and though the help of Republicans helped to secure his victory in 2006, staunch Democrat supporters could bail from his campaign in 2012.

With all of this in mind, Senator Lieberman knows he will face the consequences for his opposition to current Democrat plans in regards to health care, however, will Senator Lieberman remain in the Democratic caucus, or will he join the Republican caucus, and at the least provide for a symbolic filibuster.

After the 1994 congressional elections, Senator Shelby became a Republican. After we hopefully defeat the Democratic health care plans, will we gain a Senator? Who knows, perhaps history will repeat itself.

Over the weekend, the Conservative blogosphere has pounced on the "bow seen round the world", a photograph of the supposed Commander in Chief bowing to the Emperor of Japan, something no other American President or world leader for that fact, has ever done.

This Obama "bow", is not only a continued indicator of Obama's weakness as a President, and his sick admiration for world leaders. This is the new United States of America as Obama views it, we are no longer a Nation that stands proudly before the rest of the world, America now is humbled before the rest of the world, a mentality no President has ever had or wanted during the glorious 233 years as a Nation.

Obama has slandered the Nation, he was elected to lead across the world. Obama is pushing legislation which will destroy our freedoms and the greatest economic system in the world. Obama is weakening our national defense to the levels of European defense, while at the same time risking the lives of our European allies. Obama does not believe in American execptionalism, a belief that America's freedoms, successes, and our standing as the lone superpower is because of our founding in a strong Constitution, birthed in freedom, along with a strong Capitalistic system.

In regards to International politics, Obama has ignored the calls of our Generals and troops who need backup in Afghanistan, Obama has ignored the cry of freedom from Iran and Honduras, Obama has spit on our allies, while opening arms to our enemies. Obama does not believe in a strong America, as he is even cutting future NASA missions, because of a cost of 30 billion dollars, when he has added trillions to our debt in ten months.

As in the eyes and feelings of Obama, America is being pushed from a proud, strong, successful Nation to a humble, weak, failure of a Nation. The Obama bow represents more then a weak President, it represents the downfall of America herself, a downfall we must correct with the 2010 elections just around the corner.

State GOP Chairman Brad White opens the press conference and makes reference to Republican victories in New Jersey and Virginia as an impetus for the switch of the elected officials. Says White, Barack Obama "has lost his luster."

Those switching include the local District Judge (representing 4 Counties), the Simpson County Sheriff, Constable and an Alderman. Also switching is 1 of the 5 County Supervisors, now giving the GOP the majority 3-to-2.

Since the NJ and VA election victories for the Republican Party last week, at least 20 Democrat elected officials in Texas and North Carolina, including 1 State Representative have switched to the GOP.

The political blog, Libertarian Republican, has done an amazing job of covering Democratic defections to the Republican party, especially in the Southern United States.

While I do not see any major defections such as what Senator Shelby or Congressman Goode did in the aftermath of the 1994 elections and a Liberal agenda of Bill Clinton, Democrats are beginning to question their party of choice, especially in the Southern United States, an area that has a large mixture of both Conservative Republicans and Conservative Democrats, however, there are those who are beginning to understand a cold hard reality, a vote for any Democrat....is a vote for Liberalism.

Veterans Heritage Firearms Act of 2009.

Nothing would be more fitting then to discuss Veterans and the second amendment on this Veterans day, because without Veterans fighting for our freedoms across the world, there would be no second amendment right, and there would be no Constitutional rights.

Congressman Dennis Rehberg (R - Montana) introduced the Veterans Heritage Firearms Act of 2009 on January ninth, the purpose of the legislation is to create a 90-day amnesty period which will allow for Veterans, and their families to register old firearms, which then can be kept in the family or donated to private museums, the law relates to firearms which soldiers obtained between June 26th, 1934 and October 31st 1968. As it stands one would be prosecuted for having these firearms right now, however, these important weapons represent a time in history, a Veterans trophy, and this legislation would allow their families and private museums to proudly display that history.

The legislation in question in H.R. 442, since February when it was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security, not one action has been taken on this legislation, legislation which would allow for American heritage via the firearms our Veterans have fought with or owned to be preserved forever.

I would encourage all who read this, to contact their local representative in hopes of reaching 218 co-sponsors for this legislation, as it stands 133 Representatives are in support of this legislation, we should work hard to preserve our heritage, and for Veteran's family members to hold on to this heritage without government intervention or fear of prosecution.

Fort Hood Attack Shows a Post-9/11 Security System and Pre-9/11 Mentality Leaves Us Vulnerable

The terrorist attacks in Fort Hood last week were a horrific reminder that the nation is not safe and that the heroism of American soldiers was tested on American soil. Unfortunately, it shows that the government is becoming increasingly unable to catch potential terrorist attacks.

Hasan was a lone gunman, making the shooting far less likely to catch before it actually occurred. However, the FBI had significant evidence of Hasan's radical views and the fact that he contacted al Qaeda associates. He was in contact with the Imam of the 9/11 hijackers! What!? We knew about this and we didn't even question the guy? We didn't alert security on the base? We have a Major-- with intelligence clearances and access to automatic weapons. He could have been a mole for al Qaeda, a planner, or-- a shooter.

One of the problems that allowed 9/11 to happen was not repeated. We found out ahead of time-- we got the intelligence we needed. However, what was not there was the mentality to stop it.

The policies of the Obama Administration telling intelligence agencies to be careful about what they do regarding terrorism could have prevented the FBI from tackling the issue. Perhaps concerns about being called "anti-Muslim" prevented an FBI agent from busting the guy. Perhaps they were concerned about being called overzealous.

Part of this stems out of the prosecution of the CIA agents who interrogated al Qaeda terrorists after the September 11th attacks. Obama made it clear that he would have two policies. One: he would allow many of the Bush security surveillance programs to continue, breaking his campaign promises. In order to please his rabid left-wing base, he decided to prosecute the CIA and make it so intelligence gathered would not be acted upon.

This policy is idiotic and fatal. We must remember that the security of our country trumps politics. If only the White House knew that.

Defeat them All

In the aftermath of last night's vote in the House of Representatives in regards to health care, the Conservative blogosphere has been nitpicking at who supported the bill and who opposed the bill, even I joined the chaos of non-important examination of whom did what.

This goes deeper than what Democrat supported the legislation and what Democrat opposed the legislation; we need to throw all Democrats out of the House of Representatives. Legislation which will put our entire life in control of the government from beginning to the end should never be discussed, let alone voted on.

Electing Democrats = Loss of Freedom. All Democrats are guilty for the health care legislation passing the House of Representatives last night, as all of them voted for Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker of the House, and all of them are members of a super majority which opposes freedom in most if not all aspects.

We need to defeat as many Democrats as possible next year, because a Republican controlled Congress does not even discuss the thought of complete control over our lives, only a Democrat controlled Congress....would consider the thought, and then push that thought into reality on a Saturday evening.

Let it begin with the 14 supposed "blue dog" Democrats who voted for the legislation in Republican districts, then continue the Democrat slaughter from the highest points of Maine, to the border in Texas, as we cannot allow tyranny to run Congress any longer, and regardless of what you are told, Democrats enslave, whether through regulation, chains or control.....

Over the past few months, I have been testing the waters with numerous articles advocating Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) as a possible candidate for the Republican nomination to be our Presidential candidate in under three years. The response from readers of this blog, and folks who ran upon the articles that I had written, has been amazing.

I have received at least three emails asking me what can I do? How can we start a draft Senator DeMint for President 2012 organization? Will this lead into a Nation-wide third party movement? Not to mention numerous comments in support of Senator DeMint, and this poll in which 86% of respondents either support DeMint for President or might support DeMint for President - http://righthandedpitcher.blogspot.com/2009/10/vote-in-our-poll-would-you-support-jim.html .

Senator DeMint has become the most beloved United States Senator in the Conservative movement over the past several months, as the Conservative blogosphere has touted his actions, his comments have annoyed liberals like only a true threat could, and his devotion to liberty does not take into account whether or not his stance is popular.

The grassroots support for a possible Senator DeMint campaign for President is there, however, before I commit to anything in regards to 2012, I would like to know if my fellow Americans are prepared to work hard for a DeMint campaign, that is if we can convince him to run for the Republican nomination, that itself might be the hardest part.

While we would not have the numbers of the Sarah Palin or the Mike Huckabee for President movements, I believe our dedication could not be matched. Senator DeMint is a true American patriot, while I am not taking away from Sarah Palin or Mike Huckabee, Senator DeMint has been on the front lines for the past year, he has been attacked, however, this strong United States Senator from South Carolina is relentless.

David Harmer, the Republican candidate for Congress in California's special election in their 10th congressional election, does have a chance of winning this election today. While running in a district which has not elected a Republican in decades, their last Congresswoman easily claimed victory with near 70% of the vote, and it is rated D+11, does not seem possible.

Then again, 2009 has not been a normal election year, as we have two interesting Gubernatorial elections on the eastern seaboard, a special congressional election which has the Nation watching in Upstate New York, and the future of the Conservative movement, the Republican party, perhaps even America herself is on the line.

David Harmer is a Conservative Republican businessman, who is concerned with growing deficits, the government attempting to takeover health care, and the threat from Iran & North Korea having nuclear weapons. While the Democratic candidate is a blood sucking poli-tick who is obsessed with elected office, is as liberal as they come, and favors destroying the greatest health care system in the world. Seems like the normal Democrat from California, however, this is not a normal election.

According to a poll released last week, Democrat Lt.Governor John Garamendi is leading Republican David Harmer by a 50-40% margin, with 6% supporting third party candidates, and another 4% are unsure. While 40% of the vote would be something to tout in this congressional district alone, victory can be achieved.

First, the polling methodology is incorrect, as it questioned Republicans as 32% of all respondents, while Republicans made up 34.5% of those who voted in the primary, and historically Republicans tend to show up in larger numbers compared to their share of the registration or the last congressional election in regards to special elections.

Second, David Harmer can win this election if he gets every Republican voter out to the polls, if he makes a last minute appeal to Independents in the district in regards to health care, and if Democrats are a depressed vote this election. While Conservatism has momentum across America in regards to opposing fiscal socialism, will that result in electing fiscal conservatives to Congress? That is yet to be seen.

Third, 45% of all voters aged 18-34 support David Harmer's campaign, while younger voters have historically been unreliable to Republican campaigns, if Harmer can get the youngsters out in this election, and pray for senior citizens to have a strong presence in this election, it could be close.

Besides the fact David Harmer is running a brilliant campaign, he has done well in polling, and Conservatives and Republicans alike are fired up across the Nation, he needs a high voter turnout from the Republican party, a depressed turnout from Democrats, he needs a last minute appeal to Independents, he needs youngsters and senior citizens to come out strong for his campaign, and he needs a little bit of luck.

David Harmer can win this election, please tell all who you know in California's 10th congressional district to support David Harmer for Congress! It is time to stop sitting on the bench, and strong crowding the polls.

Honor Student Suspended for Swiss Army Knife in Car

What has happened to common sense? According to WGY and Fox News, an Honor Student at upstate New York's Lansingburgh High School, Matthew Whalen, has been suspended for twenty days for having a two-inch pocket knife in a locked kit in his car.

Accoding to Fox:

Lansingburgh High has a zero-tolerance policy, and when school officials discovered that Whalen kept his knife locked in his car, he says, they suspended him for five days -- and then tacked on an additional 15 after a hearing.

Let me point some things out: one, Whalen has never been in trouble with the law. Two, he is an honor student in good standing. Three, he has gone through basic training for the military. Four, he is credited with saving a person's life. Five, he is an Eagle Scout. In other words, he is not a trouble student and there seems that nothing warranted the search of his locked car.

So if I'm reading this correctly, it would be more...desirable... to have a system where ethnicity automatically puts a person into their place in life. Is it also better to tell children that they can't be anything but simple (stupid) workers?

It can be assumed that the pressure of mass culture that is eroding the traditional culture was the root cause of the tragedy of 9/11.

And don't forget that our kindness to immigrants has helped us become a melting pot which makes us stronger. Or according to the article, a horrible, horrible mess:

How Obama Has Failed in his First Term

I'm going to say this straight out: if the President does not pass his Health Care Plan soon, the rest of his time in office will be a lame duck. That said, this article is not just bashing Obama, but actual facts that you can look up yourself. If you want to lambaste him, or add to the list, do so in the comments, they are always welcome.

This list is primarily campaign promises that he failed to live up to.
What the President has failed to do (which he promised):

1. Prevent unemployment from breaking 8.0%.

The President assured the American public that if his Stimulus Plan was passed, unemployment would not rise above 8%. Unfortunately, that promise eventually turned out to be a failure, and the unemployment rate now stands at 9.5%.

2. Allow Americans to view new bills five days before going to vote.

If you remember, the President said that, with his election, there would be a new era of transparency in the government, allowing voters to read bills at least five days before they went to vote. Unfortunately, the transparency he must of been referring to was his own. The failure of this came when he rammed the Stimulus Bill through the Legislative Branch, putting the bill in print less than a day before it was to be voted on.

3. 'There is no Pork in the Stimulus Bill.'

Well, I don't even think I need to show you that this has been a failed promise. That's how badly this promise failed.

4. Gitmo will be closed as early as the first week of his Presidency.

CNN reported that the President planned to closed the much lamented (on the left) Guantanamo Bay prison. Guess what? Guantanamo is still open to this day because the President had no, snicker, exit strategy, i.e. he had no idea where to send the terrorists after the base was closed. Fail.

5. Lower racial tension in the United States.

The President assured voters that he would work very hard to bring people of different backgrounds together. While this is a noble cause, the President utterly failed when he stuck his nose into the arrest of Professor Henry Gates, saying that the officers acted "stupidly." This led to a crap-storm in the media, and the President later gave a pseudo-apology.

Ah, I'm getting bored with all of these broken promises, so maybe I'll continue this some other time.

When the former Speaker of the House endorsed "Dede" Scozzafava's campaign in New York's special congressional election in New York's 23rd congressional district, he did not only endorse the positions of Scozzafava, who is as radical as them come in Republican clothing, he has endorsed everything Scozzafava has surrounded herself with, whether or not he meant to.

When Newt Gingrich endorsed Scozzafava, he endorsed some of the most radical positions one candidate could take in the United States of America, while I do not question Newt's Conservatism, I do question his wisdom and poor choice in judgement, as Mr.Gingrich is not standing for the Republican party, he is standing for Newt Gingrich.

Mr.Gingrich has now endorsed a candidate who is against the secret ballot in unionization elections, and supports increased unionization in the American business place.

Mr.Gingrich has now endorsed a candidate who is radical enough on abortion to receive a planned parenthood award, which she received with glee and joy.

Mr.Gingrich has now endorsed a candidate who has the support of the New York State United Teachers, an organization which opposes the supposed "education reforms" that Mr.Gingrich so believes in.

Mr.Gingrich has now endorsed a candidate who has been endorsed by the radical leftist Daily Kos political blog, a blog which is endorsing Scozzafava because she is the most liberal candidate.

Mr.Gingrich, you really expect our support when you attempt to gain the Republican nomination in 2012? When you will not even lend Conservatism and the Conservatives who espouse those views now? Hollywood, the land of endless examples of what happens when you cast your lot with a bunch of deranged liberal lunatics, essentially you turn into an immoral piece of trash who supports a child rapist like Roman Polanski. Hollywood is a place where dreams are made true, literally. The trash Hollywood produces is becoming so bad, that more Americans are staying home and catching a good nights worth of sleep.

Hollywood and politics is another reason why to avoid a career in this vile town, as if you believe in freedom, life, the second amendment, capitalism, conservatism, or even that taxes should be low on the American populace, you should be prepared to have your career cut short, regardless of how talented an actor or actress you have become. Not to mention Hollywood is not like the rest of the Nation in terms of ideology, 40% of all actors and actresses are not Conservatives, you would be lucky to find just 10%.

Oh, and if you hate dictators and dictatorships, Hollywood is not the place for you. Hollywood celebrities are often visiting their dictator friends in Cuba and other South American hell holes, and if you oppose their environmentalist wacko views, you are a fascist, even though they are the ones rubbing elbows with the fascists.

Enough. Why the hell am I writing this article? We already know Hollywood is literally the scum of the earth, except for Spider man movies. Alan Grayson has swiftly become one of the most noticeable members of the 111th Congress. The Florida Democrat narrowly beat his Republican challenger, Ric Keller in the 2008 race for the Congressional seat. Grayson was notable in that he funded his own campaign with personal funds.

Congressman Grayson has described himself as a "proud progressive" and has been listed on MoveOn.org's list of the most influential members of the Democratic Party. Grayson first made waves in September by stating that the Republican response to the pending health care legislation was for people to "die quickly."

Grayson also called Fox News an enemy of the United States and called Linda Robertson, an aide to Federal Reserve Chief Ben Bernanke and former Enron lobbyist a "K-Street whore." Grayson has not retracted the statements and is coming under intense scrutiny from conservative media sources.

With Grayson's erratic behavior has also been seen as a growing embarrassment to the Democratic establishment. New York Congressman Anthony Weiner was quoted by Politico as saying that his colleague was "one fry short of a happy meal." Other Democrats, including New Jersey Rep Bill Pascrell have criticized Grayson's outlandish behavior.

After Grayson's latest outburst became public, former Keller aide Johann Kipling told the Saint Petersburg Times that the 2008 Keller campaign had unearthed curious inconsistencies in Grayson's professional career.

Kipling's statements were chronicled in an interview set to be released on November 5. Kipling stated that while Grayson touted that he was a respected economist he had actually failed an economics course in his sophomore year. In addition, some of Grayson's senior papers were accused of widespread plagiarism.

In addition, Kipling stated that Grayson's campaign had a glaring omission. During 1988, when Grayson had just turned thirty and while working for the Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson law firm, he spent four days in the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. What the cause of this stay was is yet unclear, although testimony from co-workers suggests that Grayson was extremely combative with fellow employees, including slapping a female intern in the face. Grayson was released after PIW doctors declared him "not to be a threat to the public."

Asked why the Keller campaign did not release this information, Kipling stated that it was the decision of Keller himself. Keller was a four-term Congressman before the insurgent Grayson captured 52% of the vote in 2008.

While some claim that Conservative Republicans want to purge the party of all moderates & liberals who are present in the party, which is 100% incorrect, as we want a party which is overwhelmingly Conservative, however, in some areas of the country we will accept our moderate Republican counterparts with open arms.

Those same idiots forget to mention that we do like some "moderate" Republicans.

Take for example Republican Congressman Joseph Cao (pronounced GOW for those that did not read this press release) who defeated the corrupt Democrat Congressman William "cold cash" Jefferson in Louisiana's second congressional district, and now represents the district in the House of Representatives. While Congressman Cao has only voted with Republicans 77% of time, including votes against the stimulus package, " cap & tax" legislation, and his opposition to the health care legislation in Congress, Cao has become the "Moderate" darling of the Conservative blogosphere.

How could this be? According to the Main Stream Media, Liberal Democrats, and even some Republicans, all Conservative Republicans and the blogosphere which we belong to, just hate all moderate Republicans who have ever been elected to Congress, or born for that matter. Well, Congressman Cao has received our support for numerous reasons.

1.Congressman Cao defeated the corrupt William "cold cash" Jefferson, and Cao is the only Republican who can win in this district. Not to mention, he is just a regular American attempting to help in the United States Congress.

2.Congressman Cao is a staunch opponent to abortion, which is why he joined the Republican party in the first place.

3.Congressman Cao opposes the current health care legislation in the United States House of Representatives because it will contain abortion in the bill, even though he knows he will probably lose his campaign all because of his personal values. As Cao later said, "but I have to live with myself, and I always reflect on the phrase of the New Testament, ‘How does it profit a man’s life to gain the world but to lose his soul.".

Now, Congressman Cao is back in the news, as he joins the campaign in support of Bob McDonnell's Gubernatorial bid in Virginia, hoping to bring Vietnamese-Americans out to the polls on Election day, in support of Bob McDonnell, a fine Conservative Republican who leads his Democratic opponent by double digits with one week to election day.

Congressman Cao is my favorite Moderate Republican, so to those that say we Conservatives do not like our Moderate brothers in the Republican party, why don't you just shut up, and do the world a favor.

According to a new poll released by the Club for Growth, Doug Hoffman now leads in New Yorks 23rd congressional district special election! While I have been expecting Hoffman to slowly surge into second place, for a hell of an election finale, it appears Hoffman has surged beyond all of my expectations. Doug Hoffman (C) - 31.3% of the vote.
Bill Owens (D) - 27.0% of the vote.
"Dede" Scozzafava - 19.7% of the vote.
Undecided - 22.0% of the vote.

Fellow Conservatives & Republicans across the Internet, I have just completed an interview with Conservative candidate for the United States Congress in New York's 23rd congressional district, Doug Hoffman. Though the interview lasted just eight minutes, I am really impressed with this candidate, and I have been following his campaign for months.

Mr.Hoffman was generous enough to keep the answers on a yes or no basis, however, when it comes to the Republican party, he really cannot contain his desire for a Reagan Republican party.

Doug Hoffman 2009! When I say Michele Bachmann is the first Republican Congressman to come out and endorse Hoffman, the fact a large majority of Republicans in Congress have not even sent Scozzafava one dime, proves to me that there is a silent majority of Republicans who want their true comrade to win, Doug Hoffman.

McDonnell should win Virginia race easily.

With just 12 days to election day 2009, Republican candidate for Governor in Virginia's Gubernatorial election, Bob McDonnell, has little to fear from his Democratic rival, Creigh Deeds, as his campaign is running on fumes, and recent polling data has Deeds trailing McDonnell in some polls by more then 10% percentage points.

According to SurveyUSA, if the Gubernatorial election we're held today in Virginia, Republican Bob McDonnell would win the Governor's house by near 20% of the vote.

59% - Bob McDonnell.
40% - Creigh Deeds.
1% - Undecided.

Among younger Virginians aged 18-34, the results are even more surprising.

61% - Bob McDonnell.
37% - Creigh Deeds.
2% - Undecided.

Republican Bob McDonnell has been smeared viciously by the Washington Post and other liberal smear merchants, however, his goals of fiscal conservatism , an all of the above energy plan, and the fact he is not a Democrat, is pushing McDonnell to reclaim the Virginia governors house, a house Republicans have been locked out of since 2001 in Virginia.

This Gubernatorial race will revitalize the Conservative Republican movement for the 2010 elections, and this Gubernatorial race will bring the state of Virginia back to its Conservative roots, especially since a majority of Virginians disapprove of Obama's job through nine months.

With the nomination of Democratic Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher to a high level position in the Obama administration, a special election has been called for the vacant congressional seat in California's tenth congressional district, a traditionally liberal district, however, with a special election looming, anything can happen.

Republican David Harmer is seeking to replace Tauscher in the United States Congress, restore Conservatism to the district, and ride on a wave of anti-government feelings which has circulated across the Nation. While Harmer might have more momentum then Republicans have previously had while running in this district, the district is D+11, supported Obama with 64% of the vote, and the Democrat candidate is the current Lt.Governor of California.

Despite all of the above mentioned, Harmer is running a special election, which guarantees a tighter election then normal, especially if Harmer can get out the Republican vote, and use the Democrat candidates status as a member of a failing administration against him to rile up feelings.

Obama adminstration : Voting Democrat is needed for black Americans to have "candidate of choice"

Authors note : While I never stop talking about elections, I hardly ever discuss election laws. Just to summarize my positions on election laws, I believe all primaries should be closed to members of that party only, that Churches should be allowed to discuss politics and endorse candidates, I also believe in the New York styled "fusion politics", however, for the state level only.

Last year, Kinston Noth Carolina voted by a 65-35% margin to end their "partisan" local elections, and replace their local elections with a non-partisan style, like most villages have in Upstate New York. Well, Obama's Department of Justice will not allow the election law change to occur, based purely on racism.

Voters in this small city decided overwhelmingly last year to do away with the party affiliation of candidates in local elections, but the Obama administration recently overruled the electorate and decided that equal rights for black voters cannot be achieved without the Democratic Party.
The Justice Department’s ruling, which affects races for City Council and mayor, went so far as to say partisan elections are needed so that black voters can elect their “candidates of choice” – identified by the department as those who are Democrats and almost exclusively black.
The department ruled that white voters in Kinston will vote for blacks only if they are Democrats and that therefore the city cannot get rid of party affiliations for local elections because that would violate black voters’ right to elect the candidates they want.

The nonsense just posted above, makes me want to puke! Equal voting rights cannot be achieved without the Democrat party? That is like saying equal voting rights cannot be achieved for white voters without the Republican party. Well, all blacks "candidates of choice" are fellow black Democrats? Is that not political racism? Is that not downright wrong?

Also, how would that violate their right to elect the candidates they want? Those candidates can still run, the voters can still cast their ballots, perhaps they could call the candidate, and ask "what do you believe, what is your political affiliation, etc.", creating more involvement in the electoral process.

This is idiotic. I personally believe all elections should be partisan to increase involvement, however, if a City or Town wants to change their election laws, why the hell does the Department of Justice have to clear it in the 21st century? I don't think we have to worry about Democrats denying black voters registration rights anymore. Also, was it necessary for the Department of Justice to insult all of the black voters in Kinston North Carolina?

Insanity, just pure insanity.

Michael Steele is not loved by Republicans.

Michael Steele, the elected Chairman of the Republican National Committee as of earlier this year, does not have great approval numbers from within his party. The former Lt.Governor and Republican candidate for Senator in Maryland, Steele is the first black Chairman of the Republican National Committee, and after being elected to that position, faced vicious & ugly attacks from the left.

Steele has had some bright spots while Chairman, however, he has made a lot of troubling moves during his tenure. As Steele has made some confusing remarks on abortion, believes that "potato salad" will help diversify the Republican party, did not defend Congressman Roy Blunt from a vile attack by a Conservative talk show host, and for his all around not-Conservative enough stances on the issues. Steele has made good comments in regards to Obama winning the Nobel peace Prize, "What has President Obama actually accomplished? It is unfortunate that the president's star power has outshined tireless advocates who have made real achievements working towards peace and human rights", however, the list of good moves is short.

In all fairness, Chairman Steele cannot be 100% evaluated to the 2010 elections are completed, as his leadership during those vital elections will shape whether or not he is elected to a second term as Chairman, and what Republicans really think of him, including myself.

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll on what Republicans think about Chairman Steele, the results are good, but not great.

38% of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Steele.
27% of Republicans have a unfavorable opinion of Steele.
35% of Republicans are unsure.

While a 38% favorable opinion is good, the fact 27% of the party does not approve of you, and 35% of the party is unsure, raises questions as to the performance of the Chairman, when he cannot even reach the 40% favorable barrier.

I personally believe South Carolina's Republican Chairman, Katon Dawson, should have been elected Chairman of the RNC, because he is a Conservative Republican who will stand up for the key values of the Republican party, and he knows how to bring all Republicans to the table (regardless of race), and it is with the issues, not potato salad.

GOP State Senator supports removal of Monserrate.

Senator Monserrate, the Democratic State Senator in New York who was convicted of dragging his girlfriend through her apartment last week, but did not receive a conviction on intentionally stabbing her (when he did), has received a backlash from the public, as they want him out of office. Well there is a movement amongst fellow New York State Senators to rightly expel Monserrate from the Senate, and I have at least one confirmed Republican Senator who supports expulsion.

Republican State Senator, Jim Seward of the 51st Senate district (in full disclaimer, my State Senator) wrote to me in an email this afternoon, that Monserrate should resign immediately, or be kicked out of the Senate for good.

conviction of a misdemeanor count of assault. I appreciate hearing from
you.

Sen. Monserrate should resign from the senate immediately. As a convicted
violent offender, he has no place as a member of the New York State Senate.

If he does not resign, I will support efforts to expel him from the senate.

Senator Monserrate is a disgrace, and should be removed by any means possible. I support Senator Seward's call for expulsion without question. If you are from New York, what does your State Senator think on this subject? If you are unsure, you should find out pronto.

If Senate Republicans are unable to remove Monserrate, I hope the voters in his Queen's district will, however, I highly doubt that will happen in such a Democratic voting bloc. But, local Republicans better have a good candidate running, because this scum needs to be defeated.

President Barack Obama's Administration has declared from the beginning that one of its key goals is to return civility to the political arena. Over the course of nine months in office, the Obama White House has spoken to famed conservatives such as George Will and William Kristol and has displayed a new sense of openness with the White House Press Corps.

However, there have been increasing vitriolic attacks made on the White House by some in the broadcast media, especially FOXNews and other right-wing arms of the Republican Party. Some of the worst attacks come from Glenn Beck, the weepy radio host who regularly calls President Obama a "Kenyan" and once referred to former green jobs administrator Van Jones as a "monkey."

Other examples litter the FOX landscape. Bill O'Reilly's Factor is infamous for accusing the Administration of freeing pedophiles while regularly praising former President George Bush. Sean Hannity shows "government waste" on his show, often not totaling a million dollars, but is yet to criticize the $3 trillion waste better known as the Iraq War.

For all of these rabid right-wing attacks, the White House has become more cognizant of the American people. Recognizing that the American people are firmly against FOX's racist and bigoted attacks, the Administration is now directly challenging the "news" organization.

In a press release given to the Huffington Post and other press outlets this morning, White House Communications Director Anita Dunn stated that the Federal Communications Commission was asked to fine the FOX Corporation for violations of the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act of 2005. This came after repeated racist and derogatory attacks made on FOXNews over the last two years.

In accordance with the 2005 law, every time the network featured a "particularly offensive" or "flagrantly untruthful" segment, a fine is levied. White House officials estimate the 2008-2009 fine to be nearing $29 million.

While FOX, owned by NewsCorp, is likely not to go into bankruptcy over the fines, it is called a "lesson in decency" by Ms. Dunn.

Dunn stated that the White House is considering asking the FCC to revoke or suspend FOX's privilege to broadcast on cable television. This appears unlikely at the moment, due to a lack of precedent.

"We cannot allow lies so flagrantly over the airwaves." Dunn stated in the release. "It is just like the propaganda that is used by foreign dictatorships. It is bordering on un-American."

After a dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, Scozzafava fended off criticism that she wasn't as conservative as third-party candidate Doug Hoffman and urged her supporters to vote for her in order to keep her Democratic opponent Bill Owens from serving as a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama's agenda in Washington. Not sure how Scozzafava could claim she is Conservative, considering she supports card check legislation which would make it easier for unions to threaten workers into unionization, she is as liberal as they come on social issues, she has no economic understanding as she supports the stimulus package, when all 178 (177 voted, one was late to the vote) Republicans in the House opposed it, has been supported by the ACORN associated "Working Families Party", etc. etc. etc.

Look, if the Republican party & Conservative activists want to retain the 23rd congressional district in Republican hands, they must elect Doug Hoffman to the United States Congress, as he is the only electable Republican in the election, he is the only Conservative candidate who the voters can resonate with, and he will caucus with the Republicans and the Republican Study Committee as well.

Does anyone find it interesting that Congressman John McHugh has not commented on this special election? While Congressman McHugh was not the most Conservative Republican in the House of Representatives, he does have a respectable 71% rating from the American Conservative Union, was a good pro-life Conservative, and opposes card check without question.

Scozzafava cannot even commit to staying in her own party, do we really want her handling literal life & death decisions in Washington D.C. to the future of our Nation? I don't think so, Doug Hoffman 09!

The people of New Jersey now have the opportunity to elect the most stimulating Republican candidate for elected office, ever. The stimulation comes from the business which she runs.

One campaign for the New Jersey Legislature is off to an arousing start.

Stepfanie Velez-Gentry, a Republican from Bellmawr running for state Assembly, makes a living hosting sex-toy parties.

As the owner of Nookie Parties, she organizes gatherings for women and couples in which she sells sex toys, lotions, games, lingerie and other erotic items.

"It's kind of like a Tupperware party, but with adult novelties," the 29-year-old mother of two said.

While the career choice of Ms.Velez-Gentry is not exactly Conservative, and the New Jersey Assembly district is one of the least to cross-over into Republican hands, I actually support Ms.Velez-Gentry without question, as her goals include making the state more business friendly, improving education without big government involvement or wasting taxpayer dollars, etc. Ms.Velez-Gentry is a Conservative Republican candidate worthy of Conservative & Republican support.

It has absolutely nothing to do with unemployment, increasing foreclosure rates, higher taxes, lower tax revenues, the shrinking of America's economy, or the fact Obama wants to enslave us all into government welfare.

It has to do with the almighty American dollar, which is becoming even weaker & useless every day, Gold is rising in value each and every day, and the American dollar is becoming so weak, the Canadian dollar which we have made fun of for literally decades in America, is nearly worth as much as the American dollar now.

One Canadian dollar buys 96.44 U.S. cents. The currency climbed to $1.0207 on Oct. 15, the strongest level since July 29, 2008. The loonie and the U.S. dollar last traded on a one-for-one basis on July 22, 2008.

As Washington D.C. continues to devalue our dollar, the Canadian dollar is almost worth the same as the American dollar (keep this in mind, our currency use to squash the Canadian currency, now the Canadian currency is growing, as ours is devaluing), if that does not prove our economic situation is in trouble, I don't know what does.
