The text is missing Gudarian and von Rundstedt, as well. Not to mention, N.B. Forrest and Stonewall Jackson.

Modern era. Zhukov was greatest General of the Grande Armee. Von Rundstedt was greatest Army Group Commander. Patton was Greatest Army General. Rommel was greatest Corp commander and perhaps greatest Division commander as well.

One General's accomplishments make all others pale in comparison. And you have probably never heard of him. More important than Eisenhower for the Allied War effort. J. C. H. (nick named "Jesus Christ Himself") Lee. Do some research on this guy.

General Paul Emil von Lettow-Vorbeck who led Imperial German forces in East Africa.
Was heavily outnumbered by the Allies in Africa. He was completely cut off from supplies. Existed totally off captured Alliewd food & arms. He was never defeated and at the end of th war was actually on the offensive recapturing territory.
